Hongyuan Fruit Candy 宏源 水果糖 350g (Tangerine Peel Hard Candy陈皮糖, pack of 1)

I have been trying for years to figure out what this candy was. When I was in college, my department was mostly Chinese/Hong Kong students, and they bought this in 20 pound bags to ship to America. I had no idea what this was called, I had no idea what the flavor was supposed to be, but i fell utterly in love with it. I am utterly thrilled to find it again. Sweet, tart, savory, and incredibly memorable, the flavor is a bit polarizing (my sister said it was like going to a new age store and taking all the quartz crystals off a tray, then licking the tray, but she liked it) but it is, as I said, easily my favorite foreign candy.

Did not taste like tangerine disappoint in this flavor

I initially brought this candy to help with a lack of appetite and discomfort during bus rides. Surprisingly, not only was it effective, but the taste was also unexpectedly delightful! The candy is perfectly sweet and sour, making me want more after each piece. The authentic tangerine flavor is a real treat. [The second picture] I've finished half of the bag within a week!When I received the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find additional candies of different flavors included, all of which were tasty. I had ordered two bags but initially only received one. After contacting the seller, they quickly and kindly resolved the issue and promptly sent the missing bag.

Consider the "peel" when purchasing. I love all the other flavorsI've tried...guava, pineapple and litchi...those are all excellent.....this orange peel isn't as great, and has a bit of a bitter taste.
