I needed a new bae for my garden umbrella. After a while of searching I came across this base. The base is not cheap but a better quality than the cheap versions. You pay for what you get and I believe in spending a little more for something that will last. I put water in the base over using sand because it can be emptied in the winter and refilled when needed.Very much worth the price.

Wanted to put the washing line on my flat roof to make space in the garden so needed something with a heavy sturdy base. Works perfectly, easy to put together and good price compared to similar models.

The assembly instructions are simple and easy enough to understand, would recommend using a ratchet socket set rather than the included spanner, my only problem was one of the base sections has a small hole in the top of it, whilst it does leak it’s not a total loss as I’ll be filling two of the bases with sand anyway and two with water, believe this was made by delivery driver rather than the manufacturer or supplier, as the box looked like some had skidded it across a car park several times, overall I can recommend this product as suitable for use as described

I used it to lay gravel on the paths in the garden it was efficient it held lots in one shovelLoad so made the job of laying a ton much easier.

Does a great job use it for our large parasol

Base is bigger than i thought but good as it can hold the weight of my 3 headed parasol
