I love getting these instead of the plastic ones for Easter because it's eco-friendly and I let my little ones draw on them and give them a fun activity before finding them.

I love Easter! And easter egg hunts in the yard! Not so much shattered plastic bits destroying our environment. These are great - sturdy - fit together well - larger than the plastic eggs you'll find at the CVS. They arrived yesterday, I gave a few to my son and he had a blast drawing on them with crayons. He literally just hid some eggs for the Easter rabbit with small bits of carrot in them (it's March) - he marked all the eggs with a big X to indicate "treasure is in here." Adorable. For our actual Easter celebration I am going to paint a bunch of them with an eco-paint I have and then hide them. These are perfect for going wild with an easter egg hunt celebration without getting depressed about releasing so much plastic into the world. I bought 2 packages - wish I'd bought 3 or 4.

These eggs were a perfect alternative to the normal plastic eggs you get in the stores. They were a good size and we had fun decorating them with markers. However, more bottom pieces than tops pieces came so we only got 10 full eggs instead of the 12 as advertised. Otherwise this product would have received 5 stars.

This was the first time I tried these eggs. I was pretty impressed with them. I didn’t want plastic ones and I didn’t want to mess with any water and paint to color boiled eggs so I decided to give these a try. I loved them! We used crayons & markers to decorate them. Super easy! They hold well provided it’s not raining or the grass is wet. I would definitely buy again!

While it is more expensive than the common plastic eggs at Easter I found this to be a better product because you have the fun of a craft project before using them in an egg hunt… they can be used over and over again, and when they finally break they can be recycled.I plan to get more each year to make it a spring tradition to decorate and to continue expanding our collection.

I purchased these in spring of 2022 and thought I had already reviewed, but as I'm shopping for something similar this year I see I didn't so here's my belated warning and review. A couple of the eggs had drips of what looks like some kind of dried glue on the outside and there are warnings on the bag saying that this product is not intended for children under the age of 14. See photo attached to review for both. Why not under age of 14, is it somehow toxic?These were fun to color on and hide some Easter surprises in, but I wasn't comfortable letting my kid continue to play with them after the day given the warnings on the packaging and unknown substance dripped on the outside of some of the eggs.
