Good Razor
this was my first electric razor, always used a blade. it gives a close shave and is smooth on the skin.Is easy to keep clean and charges fast and easy, while holding the charge for a couple of shaves. when I needed to replace it, was discontinued or no longer offered, or I would own another one.

Wow -- really close shave from a simple razor
I've had bad luck with razors in the past year... gone through 3 electric ones from big names. All were more expensive than this Remington. This one is a classic-style electric razor with a bit of ergonomics and multi-blade action thrown in. I have to say its the smoothest shave of all of them. It also has a charging stand that is simple but it works. The cap is cleverly designed to protect the foil while still allowing air flow to let it dry and it doubles as a stand (put the razor top-down with the cap on) so you can travel with it, shave, and let it dry while charging. If this holds up (no reason to believe it won't but, like I said, I've had bad luck these past 12 months) I may very well be sticking with Remington products.

Very Satisfactory
After years of using Harry's for shaving I decided to try going electric. The brand I tried first wasn't very satisfactory, but this Remington looked good enough. I've had it since mid-September and haven't had any problems. I hadn't really been looking for a wet & dry shaver, but I've learned that even just wetting my face with a washcloth makes a whale of a difference in getting a closer shave. I keep my Remington on a shelf I can reach from the far end of the shower, and sometimes I do use it there. I like that, too.At least I can shave now without having to lather up.

Great shower shave!
I purchased this razor to try shaving in the shower. I use Gilette Fusion Proglide Gel and it stays slippery no matter how many times I go over a face area. A fog proof mirror works well with this razor too. Shave quality is easy to feel as I shave and I can get an excellent shave in the shower. The razor works much better than I expected, the trimmer is fine too. After each use I blow dry and lube with Slick 50, one drop on a small brush easily lubes everywhere it needs. The razor does not irritate my boyishly tender skin! Very pleased with my purchase.

Works great
This is the only one my year old dad will use. I love the side burn cutter, sharp and precise. He takes off the head every week to clean it out with the brush that is included in the set.

I've tried several electrics before and never felt like I got a very close shave
Well, I'm 67 years old and always used a blade and soap to shave. I've tried several electrics before and never felt like I got a very close shave. This Remington is great! It gives a close shave every time and is handy as a rechargeable cordless shaver. Just found out about Mennin Pre-Shave lotion which helps give and even closer shave. I'm hooked on this electric.

Great Shaver at a Great Price
I replaced a rotary style shaver with this Remington and am very happy with the overall performance of this shaver. The foil shaver is so much easier to clean! The shave is very comfortable. In addition to using the shaver on my face, I occasionally use it on my bald head instead of a traditional razor and it works great for that purpose. The only knock is the beard trimmer, which is only adequate. The trimmer is not very sturdy and occasionally pulls at hair while trimming.Overall however this is a great electric shaver at a very attractive price.

Dusty Shaver Head
I have noticed that fine hair cuttings collect between the head and the body of the shaver. It actually comes out onto my counter top like fine dust drifting down and collects on the countertop. I called Remington today and was told that was an acceptable by product of the shaver. I don't see why Remington could not develop a dam to keep the hair clippings inside the shaver head. I have used Norelco rotary shavers for nearly fifty years and this was never a problem. I wanted to get a closer shave so went with the Remington. I'll have to admit the shaving time is less and closer but the dust problem is a concern.
