Pleased with my purchase
It applied easily and has a nice finish after waxing. I will definitely consider buying this brand again.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. As someone who refinishes furniture and knows about painting, I will say I am VERY happy with this gold. I placed 3 coats but the intial coat had pretty good coverage as far as single coats go. I was reluctant based on the negative reviews but now I feel those were people who just didnt know anything about painting. I would never use a paintbrush and chalk paint over a polished metal surface and expect adhesion. I thought this was a beautiful gold with an impressive subtle shimmer. Multi dimensional. Would recommend. Product also came in in tact.

Does the job! I used it to paint my bookshelf and I was so happy to see how beautiful it came out~ :')

Love this paint!
Goes on smooth and dries to a matte finish with no brush marks! One of my favorites!

Get a high quality, natural bristle brush for a great finish
This was my first experience with chalk paint. Painted (Licorice color) over a polyurethaned kitchen table. Didn't sand...just cleaned thoroughly & painted. Found out the importance of a high quality, natural bristle brush by trial & error... very frustrating. First coat was badly streaked, but 2nd coat with good brush did a great job of covering the streaks. I preferred the paint to be slightly thinner so added a bit of water. Dries VERY fast so move quickly to keep a wet edge. The other (simultaneous) project was a cherry wood cabinet (using the same can of paint)that had been finished with linseed oil years ago. It needed 3 coats bc reddish color of the wood kept bleeding through. The final result was very pretty, but a lot of work. I still have about 1/2 a can of paint left! Going to refinish a windsor-style bench next. All in all I would highly recommend this product. While it was so much easier than regular paint, it was still a lot of work but worth it in the end.

Black licorice 🖤
This is the color licorice! I absolutely love how they turned out. Only problem is I have no clue how to seal it. I bought a sealer for chalk paint in matte, but it didn’t look right one one of my pieces. Other than that I love the chalk paint. It looks so sharp on these pieces. & very very easy to apply. Very little prep needed!

One of the worst chalk paints I came across
I am in love with chalk paint due to the aged look it produces and I purchased white and black chalk paint from other brand to paint 2 dressers, further mixing it to achieve the degrade grey: that paint was thick like marmelade, achieved great coverage in one coat (for black; white needed 3 layers) besides getting 1 litre for under 20 USD.This Shabby chic paint by contrast is simply terrible. I purchased white, black, silver and gold, each for just under 20 USD for 250ml - terrible value for money. Not only that:- the paint is like water (shake the can to hear how water thin it is if you are going to buy it)- the paint is at the bottom of the tin and even when shaking the tin many times, the paint was still very thin- this paint smells stronger than other brands of chalk paint I used.- I tried to use the silver paint to paint the lines on this dresser and I had to apply it so many times due to being so waterish; on black it looks a bit better but on the white side of the dresser if just terrible. The silver paint leaves some streaks and lines and when removing the tape to achieve the straight lines, some of the paint was taken with the tape. This never happened with other chalk paint brands. Reading the huge percentage of positive reviews, I conclude the Shabby Chic factory standards dropped.Thankfully the Amazon customer service was amazing due to our Prime membership.

Perfect
For some reason I thought it would be bigger. Great product. I painted the wood on our bay windows with it and I love it.
