Rogue Warrior: Red Cell: 1 Mass Market Paperback – Illustrated, 1 Mar. 1993

What a total Badass ! as the Americans would put it ,I read a lot about Dick Marcinko online before buying this (and the xbox game ,like COD,but with more take downs and colourful language)It tells you about some of his exploits ,his putting his men first attitude (which gets him in to hot water,a few times)and the forming of SEAL Team six What it doesn't cover is that on one particular mission his whole squad got taken out ,and Dick carried on and finished the whole thing ,single handed ! This would make a great film! (as long as they don't put Tom Cruise in the title role)

Rogue Warrior: Red CellA great story, about a great man, and what makes it scary is that its all true! May be a little gung-ho for some but me I love it, read the rest of his stuff, stories with heart from a man who knows, cause he's been there.

I am still reading it. It is a good read with the added zest of being true - but not a natural page turner as illustrated by the fact of I have not finished it yet.

More than OK

Although Rogue Warrior is more exciting, the book reminds me a little of Delta Force by Col. Charlie Beckwith. While Beckwith tells of the formation of Delta, Marcinko played a key role in the launch of SEAL TEAM 6. I was left with an impression of a very tough, very rogue warrior. Marcinko and other SEALs are doing the dirty work to keep the people safe. An excellent read.Roger Weston, author of The Golden Catch

Reasonable read bit i was a little dissapointed, not anywhere near as good as I was hoping for.

I bought this book years ago and having read some SEAL books recently, I decided to revisit this book. My copy was long lost and purchased this one. Great story, truly inspiring how one man really can make a difference and how one man can fall when the authorities decide they dont want or need you anymore
