Minimo Glow Turmeric Face Scrub (𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞) - Infused with Turmeric, Manuka Honey, Cinnamon, and Chamomile - Face Scrub for All Skin Types - Achieve Healthy Skin

I’ve been breaking out with cystic scene decided to try this product for getting rid of dark spots. It’s a very mild scrub because the sugar dissolves when wet so I like to apply semi damp so there’s a bit of grit to it. I like how it’s a scrub and can be left on your face as a mask, making the skin regimen process at night a lot easier rather than doing a scrub, washing off, and then doing a mask. I used to mix turmeric powder myself for a mask and it would get so messy! Once the sugar is completely dissolved, it turns into a rich and creamy mask that I leave on for 10 minutes. You can really feel the moisturizing effects after you wash off the mask. Your skin feels softer and smoother and looks brighter. The ingredients in this are so pure and their choice of ingredients should also be applauded for. The top two ingredients I was surprised to find were:-Cannabis sativa (hemp seed oil) is rarely found in skin care products and it has really good benefits for the skin mostly for evening out skin tone and as a great natural moisturizer-Manuka Honey is the highest grade of honey and also most expensive. They use manuka honey in hospitals to treat extremely bad burn wounds and also has been an ancient form of healing woundsThe price for the product was a bit high at first but if they are using pure forms of the ingredients listed I definitely don't mind paying the price for the product and believe it's reasonable.Turmeric is really nice for improving skin tone, but the downfalls of it is the inevitable yellow residue it leaves. I use the scrub first, then I just swipe with toner which gets most of the residue off and apply my moisturizers. I think eventually the turmeric just rubs and seeps into the skin with my moisturizer for added benefits. Let's talk about THE SMELL of this product. This scrub smells so heavenly. Like what everyone says, it’s like lemon cake with a hint of cinnamon and I'm so obsessed with it.Will do an update on how the product works for my dark spots with before and after photos. This review is my first impression from the first use of the product. Overall I'm already addicted to the product as long as I don't see any breakouts in the future.Update: I’ve been using the product consistently for 10 days, two times a day and slowly transitioned to just once a day every two days. I found that leaving it on as a mask for 1-2 hours gives satisfying results after you rinse off. I have also gotten whiffs of the smell of the product while working out, so that heavenly smell does linger.I love this scrub and will never stop using it!

So I’ve always had this awful acne scar right in between my eyebrows since I was 13, I am 26 now. I’ve never put in the work to find anything to try & remove it. I thought it’ll always be here so i gave up on trying to remove it.Fast fwd to now, i used this face scrub a couple of times last year and decided to stop because I wasn’t seeing the result as fast as I wanted. Well, the acne scar in between my eyes gets really dark in the summer from the Sun darkening it. I accidentally made it worse about 2 weeks ago scrubbing at it with an eyebrow razor lol. I was devastated. I instantly thought about this scrub and decided to buy it again. I am so glad i did, this scrub is not only lightening my old scar that was there before I made it worse but I can literally see the skin that had “healed over” from the eyebrow razor damage I caused lifting from my skin.I’m only using it once a day for right now and im seeing the results. 2 weeks top.. im so happy!! My face is soft and smooth after as well. Evening my complexion out too. I’m so thank to have found this scrub! Please don’t ever change the formula or anything. I have only used this scrub one time and I love that it smelled great, tasted great ( it's a cane sugar scrub, yummm) and my skin felt extra soft and moisturized afterwards. I probably wouldn't have purchased had I read that one of the top 3 ingredients is Shea butter because SB tends to cause me to break out. I took off one star because after washing the mask off I noticed that thick shea butter layer feeling on my skin, I became a bit nervous and decided to wash my face again using a gentle cleanser to avoid having shea butter on my skin overnight.Whenever reviewing skin care products I like to note my other products I use and my routine: Prior to using the scrub I washed my face with "Giovanni Purifying Facial Cleanser" (My all time fav cleanser). Next, I did a 10 min face steam to prep for the scrub and open my pores. I gently exfoliated with the scrub for about 60 secs in front of the steamer, left on as a mask for 10 mins, rinsed and washed again with Paula's Choice Foaming Cleanser. I followed with my night time serum products (Paulas choice BHA and AhA, yes I use both at the same time I place each one on different areas of my face). Of course double washing and adding BHA and AHA serums made my skin feel a little dry .Well thankfully for me, when I purchased this scrub I also purchased CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream, which is a thick consistency cream so I opted to use it instead of my norm moisturizer. After putting on the CeraVe cream I read the ingredients and I noticed it also has SHEA BUTTER :(MORAL OF THE STORY: READ the full list of ingredients before you buy skin care products lol. It's a shame because I normally read ALL the ingredients before purchasing but I purchased these products late at night on whim while browsing amazon bored. I plan to use this product 3 times a wk for a month before I make a final verdict. I will of course stop using if I start to break out. I will update my review in 2 wks and let y'all know if I notice any improvement. Pray for me y'all, I really hope the shea butter doesn't cause me to break out.
