Maltron keyboard
I contracted RSI 34 years ago. Lost my job etc. I then went to work for our local authority & I was put in touch with an agency (which no longer exists), who provided me with a Maltron keyboard. In my new job I had to write up client files so using the Maltron was a life saver for me. Because of its design it helped my hands improve and I didn't look back. Maltron is a very friendly company always helpful with advice. I am now 74 and bought a new Maltron keyboard several years ago to use with my Apple desktop. I can't recommend these keyboards enough. Try them and reap the benefits as I did. Pam.

A long overdue acknowledgement.
Didn't buy from here,or haven't as yet, but am looking at getting another Maltron to go with my existing one ,but couldn't resist giving some long overdue credit to them. They saved my career in 1997, RSI so bad Doctor was telling me to get another job. Advised to contact Maltron, they provided a trial version of this style of Maltron (but Grey) for a month, within the week I was back developing, painlessly, so bought it (£400, 20 years ago!) have used the same keyboard since, only one I can touch type on, using the DVORAK layout. Which is good, as the letters have worn off many of the keys after all this time so unless I check the cardboard layout, I've no idea what each key is, I have to sit at keyboard and let my fingers get on with the typing! It takes a little getting used to, BUT if they still provide their touch typing notes, you soon pick it up, in fact I was touch typing before I even got half-way through the course. I also bought a case and a switch so that I could take it into work, and then could switch to the standard keyboard for anyone coming to type on my machine, who looked in shock at the Maltron! Just flip the switch and they could use the normal one. One final point, it was a great ice-breaker, it seemed no one could pass my desk without stopping to ask about it, which probably slightly reduced productivity, but , did wonders for Office communications!
