Awesome Ilumimation, HyperX Quality
I understand that it is a refurbished product and it may be missing accessories such as the original box, have some signs of use or minor flaws. The Box is what matters least to me. The keyboard works correctly. It is clean and without signs of use. The only detail I found is that for some reason the internal memory of the keyboard to save lighting effects does NOT WORK. No effect is saved, so I can only change the effects with the HyperX NGENUITY Software and on some occasions the "FN" key doesn't work, but just disconnect and reconnect the keyboard and it works again. The truth is a very high quality keyboard for the price for which I got it. for which it is recommended 100%

A very nice keyboard for typing and general productivity
I've had this keyboard for a couple of weeks now. I use this keyboard for general productivity and typing, not for gaming. The sound made by this keyboard is pretty nice, a bit clicky, but in a good way. The touch is light and I can see getting faster on this than on my last low-end membrane keyboard. If I had to point out any faults, I'd say that the keys are a bit slick, these have no texture on them. If you do game and get sweaty hands that might be an issue, but it hasn't been for my use case. The other small issue is that the keys are slightly concave in design (many keycaps are), so I occasionally get my fingers caught moving from one key to the next key while typing. This might also be because my last keyboard had flat keys so I'm sure I'm still adjusting to the difference.Since this is a "renewed" product I assumed that there might be some light wear and tear on the base or the keys but mine looks and performs like it's new! While your specific keyboard may be a little different in terms of condition, I'm super pleased that I was able to save almost 40% off the new price. :)

Bought refurbished/renewed and got a great deal.
I've used this keyboard for years, so I picked up another one to use at work. My first one had a ton of issues due to the Ngenuity software, but it's been perfect since that whole mess. I have one with aqua switches and one with reds. They both sound great and are smooth to type on.

Excellent keyboard overall.
Excellent build quality. Heavy all metal frame. Like seriously, yank it off your desk and use it to take a zombie's head clean off! Good feeling keys, nice deep curvature on top of keycaps, excellent light transmission. Switches are on top of the frame (as many are now) so lots of light. Light transmission through keycaps is very good as well, not Puddings but not bad.Now for the bad, 1/2 a star for each and I probably would have rounded up to full 5 stars if either hadn't been true. One is my and/or Amazon's fault not HyperX's. I knew I wanted blue switches I've had a FUNC with cherry blue's for quite a while and have been very happy with it except that it's LEDs were red only. A couple of brightness levels and I think it can do a breathe animation but that's it. When I was ordering the HyperX I got a recommendation from Amazon that the same thing was available for less because it was a refurb/return. Sadly it wasn't the same thing, it was red key switches instead of blue. Amazon's fault for it not being the same thing I was ordering, my fault for not catching it.If you like the smooth feel of red linears you're in luck. These are excellent. I like the positivity of blues both for typing and gaming. Plus I lay my hands on the keyboard fairly heavily so get the occasional extra letter I wasn't looking for. I was looking forward to trying HyperX's custom blues. Alas not this time. The other con is the software for the keyboard functions. It's an "App" not a real program and so comes from the Microsoft store rather than a direct download/install. Haven't used any other recent keyboards so not sure how prevalent that is but it doesn't make me happy. Luckily you can get around not having a Mickeysoft login for free apps so that's why it's not a full star on it's own.

Bought used but it was like new
I've used it for a couple of months with no issues. Excellent deal.
