There are a million variations of the dried plum “candies”, these are an intensely salty version. I grew up on these as a kid, we had to go to a big city China town to find them and buy in bulk.They are bone dry, intensely salty, not at all sweet,.They are not the most intense kind.

Too salty

Just what I expected. I have missed these for a long time. Every time I go to Mexico I buy these but I haven’t gone in a while. This is an excellent replacement. They are just as salty as I remember and I really enjoyed them.

These are the best salted plums on Amazon. If you don't like intense, extremely bold salty/sour flavor then do not order this product, definitely not for sissy types. A beautiful addition to a cold pint of beer or any citrus fruit

As my title states “why so salty”. Omg worst thing ever. I am born and raised in Hawaii and I use to these kind of goodies. But this was just pure salted plum. I tried to eat it with lemon like how we use to back in the day. I couldn’t. It burned the upper part of my mouth. Not worth the money.

These are way too salty. I have to nibble little bites and I’m not even able to finish 1. These aren’t the same as the ones from my child hood. I was looking for the ones that are a little sweet and a little salty. I won’t buy these again. I’m going to try a different brand.

If you take a whole one it will be the most sour thing you ever put in your mouth, I recommend cutting it into small pieces
