Works with ASIAIR and EQ6R-Pro
I have an older EQ6-R Pro without the USB port so need a cord like this to connect my ASIAIR for control. The AIR wouldn't connect without errors using an older cable with a CH340 chipset, but this one works flawlessly.

This works perfectly with the ASIAIR Plus and EQM-35 mount. Plug and play with no issues. Works as it should!

Product Worked Exactly as intended.
Product Worked Exactly as intended. Install the appropriate FTDI Chip Driver (USD to COM) and also understand the specific Equatorial Mount ASCOM X client device you are integrating with and what the specific ASCOM hardware device driver does which interfaces to that hardware and you should be successful. This plugs directly into my Skywatcher EQM-35 PRO Equatorial hand controller with a Skywatcher ASCOM Driver and now I have full control including guiding capabilities as well. Also I can still use the hand controller as well with and without a PC. Great product in my opinion for my application.

RX and TX lines swapped
RJ connector cable retainer is also improperly crimped onto the wires and not onto the cable jacket.

Worked for ASIair Pro and EQ6R mount.
Needed this item to connect my EQ6 R Mount to the ASIAIR Pro. ASIair would not recognize mount through USB B port on the mount itsself. This connected to the Hand Control port on the mount. Recognized immediately. 9600 baud rate with EQMOD Mount on ASIAIR Pro software.
