When my granddaughter visited this summer she entertained herself putting squares of fabric on my flannel quilt wall. After she had put down enough and decided she had done enough on it, I took it down and sewed the squares together. I still have to quilt and bind it so she will have it by Christmas. She told her mom the other night how much she enjoyed it and missed doing it with me, one of those letters that a daughter-in-law sends to her mother-in-law that make you love her even more. I don't know why some mother-in-laws have to be so nasty. Anyhow, even before I got that note I have been trying to think through how to make her a flannel wall that she can start laying out squares to sew into blocks. A 4 piece block is about one of the easiest blocks to make but there are several different ways to lay it out. So with this flannel and my huge stash of fabric I want to make a quilt kit for her. As she goes from 4-patch to 9-patch blocks, etc. she will be naturally learning fractions. This flannel is very nice feeling and I think with my husband's help we will be able to think up the best way to make her a flannel quilt wall with hopefully some flannel left over. I know a newly married woman, that I suspect will be having a baby in the next year or so and I want to be able to make some baby things for her if it happens. Good flannel is a great notion to have in a sewing room as it can be used in so many ways. I am so glad that I was able to get it as my usual fabric store didn't have any plain white!

Nice FabricColor continued through both sides

Very poor quality, very thin, color is very dull, fabric very poor texture

This flannel was fine overall; the quality was above average but I thought it was a little thin. I used it for the filler layer in a rag quilt and it was not as fluffy as some others I have used. However, the price was good and I got a full 5 yards so I have some left over for another project. It did fray just the way one would want in a rag quilt and the color is a nice bright white.

Nice and fluffy and it was cut nice and straight. It has a nice weight too.I used this in my first quilt - a minky baby quilt (really stupid move - don't do that!) and this was used between the top and bottom minky instead of batting.I was using 10" squares on the top and didn't want to have to quilt the entire quilt, so I used flannel and echo quilted just the seams. Turned out great for a first time quilt.I know this flannel will last forever. I plan to buy another two yards for a baby rag quilt if it's ever back in stock again.Nice flannel. A nice bright white. A nice weight. Cut straight... 👍👍Don't hesitate on this. It's good.My only complaint is how expensive FLANNEL cotton has become. It used to be one of the least expensive fabrics you could buy. Not anymore. $10 a yard is ridiculous and is the going price everywhere. I know I won't continue sewing much anymore. Like all craft hobbies; sewing, knitting and crocheting ... regular people are priced out of them.

Nice fabric, very soft. Used it to make reusable cloth pads. Would buy again.

Although the shipping was late, the fabric was worth the delay.
