BEST VALUE (tastes GREAT, you can't Beat The PRICE with a STICK!!!) REAL Japan Sourced Tea and Rice
I am sure there are Better Tasting GENMAI CHA made from JAPAN Sourced Tea and Rice, but you will PAY A LOT MORE for it, and imho, I am VERY HAPPY with this version... even if it is Packed In LOS ANGELES, CA... I don't care... the QUALITY, PRICE, AVAILABILITY, 2-day AMAZON DELIVERY, and END RESULTS are GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. This is my 4th Order now, and I can STILL TASTE THE SAME QUALITY I wanted and experienced from The FIRST TIME I tried this. "Masuda-en Tea Farm, in SHIZUOKA Province, Japan, a famous Tea Farming Region where MOST of the TEA from Japan is Produced and Shipped Overseas". You can tell from the PHOTO, showing Mt. Fuji in the distance, this is taken on HONSHU, where SHIZUOKA Prefecture is located. Japan only produces about 90 Million Tons of the World's TEA... Mainland China produces over +100Billion Tons of the World's TEA, but it also has much more incidents of FRAUD and VERY POOR QUALITY too. AND, Japan uses almost 100% MACHINE AUTOMATED PROCESSING of their Tea, so the Variability is almost ZERO, and the QUALITY and STANDARDS are almost 100%... with virtually ALL MACHINES doing the Tea Processing... including Measuring, Bagging, Sealing, and BOX'ing of the FINAL PRODUCT. COMPUTERS CONTROL JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING in JAPAN. CHINA still does MOST of it's Tea Processing MANUALLY... subject to BIG VARIATIONS in QA and Results... you MIGHT GET GOOD TEA, and you MIGHT NOT... it's The ROLL OF THE DICE... depending on HUMAN Hands. So, just be aware of that!!! I am NOT saying CHINA cannot produce GREAT TEA's.. they CAN and DO... but what are the changes of YOU getting one? It is MUCH LESS than getting it from JAPAN. This TAKAOKAYA Genmai-Cha Tea is an excellent example of that. I cannot detect ANY Variations in ANYTHING about this item... including the MACHINE SEALING of the Package. And the actual Genmai-Cha Tea is to DIE FOR!!! Sign Me UP... !!! v/r, "The TEA Spectator"

Delicious
I love hot green tea that sushi places sell but I’ve never found one that tastes right. Turns out the problem was I was getting green tea instead of rice tea with matcha powder. The 64 pack is convenient and delicious. Helps with water intake and antioxidants!

Good and a Decent Price
My brother got me a Sakuraco subscription for Christmas and the first box had a brown rice and matcha tea in it that was so good that I had to get more immediately. I found this tea here and hoped it would be somewhat comparable. It definitely was not as good as the tea in the Sakuraco box; this tea did not taste as fresh or as robust, but for the price it does the job. I just have to figure out how to get the tea that was in that box, I suppose!

Brews in a minute!
I love this tea and drink it every day. It doesn’t taste like green tea with the bitterness but rather it tastes like a combination of the brown rice and green tea. Kind of difficult to explain. The best part; it brews within one minute, so I am drinking my morning tea right away!

The Subtle Taste Reminds Me of Home
My first taste or this tea was when my brother, who just returned from traveling to Japan, offered me a few (tea) bags to take home. The taste is subtle, crisp and very refreshing, and reminds me of "pinipig" a Filipino term for toasted glutinous rice, pounded into delicate flakes. I was so happy to find the same exact tea on Amazon, and I have used it exclusively since! I'm a tea drinker and just ordered 4 more boxes of these. I give this product ☆☆☆☆☆!

Absolutely delicious
The flavor is delicious, mild, with an interesting earthy after taste from the rice ingredient. It's not as strong as typical green tea you get from the supermarket. It's unique and goes with many dishes. I love it, and very happy it came in a large quantity, will probably last me a few months.
