This coffee is lovely, a beautiful aroma and flavour, I only gave 3 because it is not value for money now.Last ordered when reduced and bought 4 x packs (was under £5.00per pack), now hiked up to £10.00, sohave looked for an alternative. What a shame, would have carried on ordering but now out priced.

A coffee with a mild and sweet character but also lacking enough 'punch' for a wake-me-up.Having switched from a pod machine to a drip-filter model for reliability reasons, a search has been on-going for the ideal blend, not too weak nor too strong, definitely not bitter but with a certain undefinable 'character'. Several were tried, sometimes different varieties from a single brand, sometimes a different brand entirely. One was thought to be close to ideal but was suddenly not available for months, not again since, and another from the same brand used as an alternative for 2-3 months. For whatever reason, those consuming it had more recently often (daily for some) complained of mild gastric issues that followed within the following hour. This was a suggested alternative.Although not as flavourful or characterful, it does not produce the unwelcome side effects. Coffee from several Pret outlets was infrequently purchased, although not very recently, and remembered as a very flavourful brew without any adverse characteristics. This is quite different and may indicate a change in what they currently offer in-store.

I am using this coffee for a cold brew.I experimented with a number of light roasted coffees, this one is my favourite in this price range.It has a nice flavour and the acidity can be felt but is not overwhelming.With other coffees I could not feel the acidity - including some more expensive options.

I was delighted to receive my Pret ground coffee as had been missing my frequent treat during lockdown. Now I can enjoy my favourite brew at home, great smooth taste and makes the house smell lovely whilst it’s cooking in my stove top coffee maker. Will definitely order again.

It's Arabica but a pretty weak roast. We had to use two scoops per person for the cafetiere and I'm not a person who likes my coffee really strong. Just nowhere near as flavourful as Lofbergs organic. If this is typical of Pret coffee, I'm glad that I don't go there. If you like weak, unflavourful and pretty nondescript coffee, just so you can show the bag in your kitchen as a brand bunny, have at it.

During the lockdown I had a craving for Pret coffee so decided to try this. I was pleasantly surprised how good the smell is and it really does taste like Pret coffee you get in their shops. I also bought some coconut rice milk the one that they use in pret (provamel) now my homemade flat whites are just as good as those in Pret.

I definitely wouldn't consider myself a "cofficionado" but I do enjoy a nice, smooth cup of coffee of a morning and this does the job. I use this blend in both a cafetiere and an electric coffee machine and I get a good cup of coffee every time. I've found the 500g bag lasts me around two months of fairly regular coffee drinking. There's a lot of choice out there, and this blend probably won't knock your socks off, but it's much nicer than instant and makes a decent cup of coffee at a good price.
