Very good product, very legitimate leather

Don't let the reviews fool you. Some people say it doesn't fit. But guess what, it does. I have the sony a7ii with the 24-70 kit lens. This cover fits over the lens and lens hood. It is said in the description it is for the kit lens. Maybe it will fit around other lenses but I don't have any to play with. It feels sturdy, feels secure and feels like it will protect it. Good product.

Fits perfect. Bigger lens might become an issue. Pretty well made, so far.

I purchased this case so I can carry my Sony a7 with me daily, but only after a few days of carrying around, a bottom snap broke. Not super high quality, but it wasn’t expensive either.

Nice product for the price. The leather blend material feels pretty good, actually. It looks good. I was most interested in the bottom portion and just saw the top portion, which covers the top body and lens, as a bonus. The lens cover SNUGGLY fits the 28-70mm Sony kits lens, but won’t fit anything even a little larger (such as my 50mm Rokinon). My only complaint would be that the bottom portion has three button snaps (for attaching the upper protective case), which means the camera will actually rest on the lens when setting down the camera, since the bottom is not flat. Pictures attached.Oh! Some of the reviews claim that there is no access to the battery compartment...not true! There is a quick release hatch.

Their product listing showed it was compatible with my camera, but when it arrived, my camera could not fit. total waste of time to have ordered it.

Edit: This has worked perfectly over years of use. Would recommend if you mainly keep one lens on, and I would suggest the 16-35 (SEL1635Z) I use (linked below). Get it!I've taken this around the world now, hiking and skiing through Japan. It's a form fitting modern option.Con: It doesn't fit perfectly with my lens but it's manageable -- The Sony 16-35mm F4 OSS ZA(?). This product is great, I'm purchasing my third right now. Why three? I lost the first one, and the second one was ripped when I pulled the camera out of the bag for TSA. They're flimsy, they're held together with GLUE. But dude, it's $35 and super cute. They're definitely NOT 'built tough,' but they are a great cover for gentle wear, especially in the city.
