Works very good. Just gotta be careful not to over do it to begin with. Not as uncomfortable as a door hanging set up so it’s easy to go too high on tension. Little loud with the clicker/ratchet but does work. Hold the knob when you release and you can ease off the pressure instead of a fast jarring release. Would love if this was air operated!

The unit worked fine for the 1st week and then slowly started to breakdown during the next 2 weeks until it finally stopped working all together. I took the advice of others who reviewed the traction unit and I was very gentle with the control knob. I never went over 50-60lbs on the pressure gauge during the 1st week in an attempt to slowly increase tension without incident. I increased the pressure to 70lbs and that's when the knob started to malfunction, it worked intermittently for about 10 days and then completely stopped working. I thought by holding the knob while releasing the pressure as suggested would prolong the life of the cables, unfortunately the only benefit of holding the knob was the elimination of the hard snap back. Lesson learned as this machine will be returned, the traction unit is not designed for daily use in my opinion.

This is easy to use and is very comfortable. It provides instant and long lasting relief. Finally able to sleep all night without neck pain after using this. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering with neck pain.

Received 1st unit in a timely manner. Upon opening the shipping box, the unit appeared to been used as I found dog/cat hairs on the Velcro and upon further inspection, the cord was frayed where attached to the main unit. I called Brace Direct customer service and the situation was handled immediately. I was emailed a shipping label to return the unit and Brace Direct shipped a new unit the same day ( I received the new unit in 4 days). I cannot comment on the unit as I haven’t tried it yet. I can say I was pleased with the customer service.

Tried the pump thing that looks like a neck brace very uncomfortable. This does the job relieves the pressure on the nerves in my neck and relaxes me . Exactly like the one at my physical therapy. Worth the money

First, this device is very effective initially and simple to use. The straps could have been better designed and more comfortable.My unit lasted me about 88 days with daily use until the last day when the dial mechanism apparently broke on the inside, rendering the entire device useless.

It ok. Was expecting something better. Thought it was electrical but it’s not . I had to do a few modifications like adding a small towel roll behind my head to keep my head in a more neutral or slightly flexed position. When you press the release button it drops your head very fast and it’s very uncomfortable so now I unstrap my head and remove it before I press the release button. I keep my knees flexed but if I want a better pull I slowly lower my legs and I get a little extra stretch on my neck. It does help in releasing some of my neck tension. The machine is a little loud as well .

Don’t buy poor quality. I have had 2 of them. They replace first one and now I’m stuck with broken one.
