Spacious and appears sturdy and my daughter loves the design. Our schools were open in the fall during the pandemic and still are, thank goodness, but the school was having my daughter bring every single book and her chrome book back and forth to school each day in case they were moved to e-learning due to community case percentages on the rise. (we are in Indiana and even though we have all been wearing masks since may, somehow we still have some of the highest cases in the US, how's that work?) We are only a block from school but watching her struggle on the way to and from made me worry about her future ability to stand up straight ever again. I read the reviews and found this great deal in the warehouse and couldn't be happier. Everything fits and so far after a week no major mishaps. If for some reason it falls apart next week, Ill update my rating.

Pretty, roomy, sturdy and fits all my daughter's stuff. I don't remember having nearly this much stuff to haul around when I was in 6th grade but this backpack certainly does the job. After destroying her first backpack (that we got at Target) by thanksgiving, I am giving this one a try. Seems to be well built. Solid extension arm and rollers, and lots of heavy stitching on the seams. I am very hopeful this will last thru the end of the school year.

I purchased this rolling bag for my daughter in anticipation of the new school year, expecting it to last. At first glance, it seemed like a high-quality bag, sturdy with a sleek design. Unfortunately, after just two days of use, the handle broke. I’m incredibly disappointed. I had bought this bag at the end of last school year, confident it would be a reliable choice. However, it couldn’t even withstand the first week of school. I expected better durability for the price and am now left scrambling to find a replacement. Not recommended.

The bag has been useful to carry my laptop and accessories. I prefer rolling away than using it as a backpack but if I have two roll away bags it helps me to have the back pack option which I like. So far it has been a great friend. Love the vibrant colors.Some things could have been better for example, the front zipper cannot be closed easily if you have your laptop and a few things zipped up in the back compartment. A little extra fabric on top would have helped. The laptop compartment is not sturdy so once you place the laptop and strap it with the velcro it flips inwards and you need to adjust other things around it.It is worth the money. Have used it on two trips since I bought it. So far so good.

Use it for going to the pool

Ahhhhmazing! Got this for my daughter because she is currently in the hybrid program...due to covid she gets to go to school two days a week and she has to carry so many books, supplies, and her laptop. Everything is so heavy and she can't use a traditional bookbag so this has been so awesome to have!!! She is able to move her backpack with ALL the supplies and then some without being frustrated of not being able to carry everything!! Not to mention but the price is AWESOME!!!!

I use this rolling backpack for my water aerobics class.

I am working as a substitute teacher and do not have an office or a place to keep my belongings at school. I ordered this bag so I can put all my necessary items that I need to get through my day and wheel it with me wherever I am sent. This bag saves my shoulders and back by carrying my laptop, a book to read while I sit and watch the students, miscellaneous papers, a water bottle, some snacks....As I do not have a set break, I keep my water and my snacks, disposable masks for Covid, etc with me to reach in and grab at any time. The only reason I gave it a three stars is because like the other reviews say, the handle does not seem to have a sturdy build so it sort of seems that it might come out or break. I really, really hope that it does not break for a few years that I expect and would like the bag to last me. The pockets are great. I use all four openings. Should something happen, I will post it here and hope that Amazon can give me their best customer service and replace the item. Amazon is the only "store" I shop at. I hate shopping in big stores and shop on Amazon nearly every day. I hope that Rockport can improve upon this backpack since I don't want to waist almost $60 on something when I could've gotten something better built.

Lots of room, well divided and well built. I only wish the side pockets were deeper to fit a large water bottle.

This is close, but not the fabrique advertised in the picture. they used fabric shown in a different product they also sell. But otherwise product matches picture
