I had old holders from a used set of dumbbells I bought. I replaced one set because they were rusted and worn. Compared to those, these seem thinner and perhaps a metal mixture different than it, at least it visually gives that impression. The original ones the metal is polished and probably had more steps involved. The size is different. These are smaller, not as thick. I've attached a photo of the two side by side, mine on left and this product on right. Overall it's smaller. However, no problems. I use it inside so it's never going to suffer extreme temperatures which might cause it to crack. Serves the purpose and would buy again. It screws on tight and works well to safely secure the weights on bar.

The collars are to small for the dumbbell, otherwise of good (as advertised) quality

There is no quality control. Out of 2 packs 4 worked and the other 4 had bad threads. If I had sent the first pack back before receiving the second pack I would have had to do another return. I got lucky and was able to obtain four working ones out of two packs but this is absolute crap and this company is pretty terrible for not testing their product.

Fits my barbell perfect

Good locks. One lock gave me some trouble at first, it wouldn't thread completely. All I needed to do was some light filing on the dumbbell bar, now they all thread perfectly. No wobble and they lock tight. If they grew legs and walked away I would buy them again.

They work how they should. One threads a bit weird but it’s fine

Plain and simple, these spinlock clamps work to expectations.No more of me lifting barbells that don't stay tight. The rubber guards help secure them.I am glad that I was able to get these clams (and very quickly thanks to Amazon Prime 1–2-day delivery).I no longer have a sports store to go to and grab them, so it is great to know that there is another platform to get them with ease.
