It’s a mixer
4 channel inputs without creating noise the output needs to go to an amp not headphones. At the price and with the advantage of dinky size (it’s tiny!) if all you need is a mix without mutes or pans this is ideal. I can’t praise it enough for a mini synth setup.

One small flaw.
Not being a powered unit and relying completely on the power being pushed through the audio cables, it suffers from diminished audio output the higher the volume nob is on other inputs.If I have nob 1 all the way up and start turning nob 2 up the audio from nob 1 will start getting quieter.While this is still a great price of equipment just keep in mind this small flaw.

Good with Volcas
Bought this to help with some basic mixing using my Volcas. It's great cause it doesn't require power or any adaptors. The only thing is that because it's not running off battery when you connect more volcas or sources to the input of the mixer the overall sound gets quieter. There's only a certain amount of loudness it can handle and if more is added it has to share that around. But if you're jamming on your own, taking it friends house or running the volca off battery, it's a perfect fit.

Serious drop in amplitude!
Even with the unit plugged into USB and the IC "amp" on, things go real quiet. Not much use sadly :-/ .
