My best investment in disc golf equipment!
This is a great tool to have in your bag! Especially if you play any courses with lakes, creeks, or very wooded areas. It has a long extend length and it's super sturdy when extended all the way out. It'll save you a lot of lost discs in the water and save yourself from having to play in wet shoes all day, after retrieving a disc that went in the water. The hook is perfect, it'll hook the lip really easy and then just lift it out of the water and back in to your bag. It's great for getting disc that get stuck in trees too! It's already paid for itself the first two weeks of having it. I've retrieved a couple of my own discs and several of my friends discs too from creeks and lakes. Plus I even retrieved several discs that were abandoned in water spots because others didn't have a way to get them out, 7 so far! I love having this in my bag. It retracts to 18", you want to make sure you have an umbrella or stool pocket to store this in your bag. It's a bit too long to put in your disc pockets. But fits perfectly in the umbrella pocket. It's really well built and you can feel the quality of it. Definitely a great purchase!

Instant hero-status within your disc golf group - guaranteed!
Every time I've taken this thing out to play, I've saved at least one of my friends' discs (or my own). I used to have the golden retriever, which is this metal cage on a string. This thing is far quicker and far more effective at retrieving discs in the water, in trees, or anywhere else out of reach. The only negatives, so far - it's a bit awkward to carry. I haven't quite figured out the most efficient way to store it in my bag. Right now it sticks out and falls out regularly. The other concern I have so far is keeping it maintained. After only three outings, it's already getting difficult to slide it all the way in to its shortest length. I bring a rag with me so I can wipe it clean every time I use it. I also reached out to the company and they recommended using a dry lube spray help it stay functional. Even with taking these steps to maintain it, I'm not sure how long it'll last. But I'm sure by that time, I'll have saved so many discs from certain death that it will have paid for itself ten times over! If you're a disc golfer, I highly recommend this tool.

Worth it's weight in GOLD
I have to say that this stik is a must for any disc golfer that plays. I have rescued more than my fair share of discs of others and myself over the past year that I have owned it. The duel head option is a great addition to this stik but even if you only have a the hook it still works like a champ. The $50 investment will be made up after rescuing three (3) discs. I even have used it in my non-disc golf job as a measurement reference for photosims. I recommend this to anyone and everyone that plays disc golf.

Fell apart after 10 uses, what a great waste of money!
I purchased this to retrieve discs from water areas the disks are very light 150 g. When I first received it it had a nice light weight. It extended to a great distance. It seemed perfect. The only ? In my mind was would it hold up. I was very careful with it because it was light and flimsy. That wouldn’t be a problem for me because I took it into account whenever I used it. On my 10th usage I simply hooked it onto the edge of a disk and the whole front fell apart I have attempted to repair it more put it back together that has failed I’m probably going to have to Jerry rig, glue, pin it. i’m not sure exactly how I’m going to handle it just yet, but I shouldn’t have to! I do not recommend you purchasing this product!

Excellent tool
Great tool. Seems expensive but pays for itself retrieving 3 discs, so well worth it. Use it as stated and it is plenty durable.

Great recovery tool for discs
Hate to even admit that I've used it but i have, more than once. It's a great tool to have to help recover your discs that the trees like to keep.Great extension length allowing you to recover from great distance.Recommend one for every disc golfer because you never know when you'll next grip lock your firebird.

Essential tool
If you know someone that plays disc golf, this is an essential tool! Gift them the Kwik Stick and save countless discs and dollars from trees and water hazards! It’s not exactly light, weight but it’s well worth carrying the extra pound.Highly recommend! I’ve had it for a month, playing countless times, and have saved more discs than I would like to admit, both friends and my own.

This is a must have
Every disc golfer - this is a must have! Water, brambles, privet, etc - no match for this handy tool. I have tried other retrievers and none match up. Just make sure you have a bag that can carry the pole. The only gripe that I have is that you cannot lock the extending rods into place. This makes using the tool a bit tricky, but in no way does it make this a bad buy. It is a great buy!
