Yes 12M is the same as 12 regular. But these boots run big. I wear 12 everything but these boots a bought 11W because I have fat feet.

Honestly I have no clue. They aren’t heavy. They just don’t feel like Tims they felt really cheap especially after working in them for a few weeks. I’ve had Timberlands my whole life and these are the worst I’ve had
