The Bark Print Magazine

After flipping through an issue at the vet's office, I had to subscribe to Bark. It is a wonder magazine for dogs and their humans. Every issue is packed with new products, training issues, articles about events/places/people affecting dogs such as banned breed laws, in-depth looks at service and working dogs, the Smile section, question and answer sections with vets and trainers, and so much more. The advice and information provided is down to earth and useful. I've saved all the recipes given so far, and my dogs love their new biscuits. I grew up reading Dog Fancy, and Bark can be described as the opposite of that. Dog Fancy is more for breeders and the show circuit. Bark is for the rest of us who consider ourselves pet parents rather than owners. Our dog(s) is(are) part of the family, and Bark gives great information on how to make the best family possible.

I have been a subscriber of "The Bark" for years. I look forward to receiving it quarterly. Now I just need to find out if the print magazine subscription means I also have access to the digital magazine via "The Bark" app. I tried logging into my Amazon account on the app but it would not connect. I hope so because I love my digital magazines. Thank you.

I have subscribed to this magazine for 15 years +/-. Thoughtful, dog positive articles on everything from food to behavior to poems and short fiction. The Bark is for people who think their dog is another member of the family.

Bark magazine is great! It has stories about real dogs and real dog issues. I don't like some other dog magazines because they are aimed at breeders and are all about purebred dogs. Bark is for the everyday dog owner and lover. I volunteer as a foster home for dogs and this magazine helps me keep up on issues related to dogs, health problems, training methods and new products. I love it.

I bought this Bark subscription as a gift for my sister, who recently got a new puppy, but I have been a Bark reader for years, back even when it was a little newsprint rag called the Berkeley Bark. Even then it was great. The articles are always well-written, and the photos and features are balm to a doglover's soul. If I had to have only one magazine for the rest of my life--of any kind--it would be the Bark.

I love this magazine. I used to read Caesar Milano's dog magazine, but I could finish it in about 15 minutes. Waste of money for a magazine that is so expensive. BARK has so much to read. Tons of articles, stories from dog owners, etc.

This magazine is great for people who love their dogs. We are not talking about show animals, or people who breed dogs. We are talking about people who have dogs as pets, people who have dogs as members of their families.
