BUY THEM AND RUN!!!!!
First and foremost as a reference I own several QSC speakers (K12.2’s and K118’s). I bought the ICOA speakers with the thought process of using them as monitors. Now I plan to use them as back room fillers.Prior to my blind purchase I called every Guitar Center to hear what reviewers (YouTubers and Dj’s) have been raving about. Funny thing is that none of the Guitar Center employees knew of the brand even though they were selling the product on there site.So I blindly purchase the ICOA 15Bt and it turned out being one of the best purchases I’ve done. I was so impressed I went ahead and purchase there ICOA 18A Sub (it’s a beast!!) bass hits hard and low!*Negative the sub cabinet is really heavy and casters must be purchase separately.Do not let the In-expensive price point fool you! These speakers are awesome! I’m sure once the word gets out on them there prices are going to sky rocket.Do your own research apparently the LD brand is not a well known brand in the States but is widely used in other countries.In my humble opinion the ICOA’s sound better than the QSC’s!The QSC tops tend to sound a bit harsh at high volumes. The ICOA 15’s sound fuller and warmer at high volumes.As a reference I’m running all my speakers through a DBX Drive rack PA2 which make the whole system sound Sick!I plan to incorporate all the speakers in all my gigs.My 2 cents! Terrible experience
To start with when I got the speaker setup and playing I compared it to some of my other PA speakers and was pretty pleased with the sound coming from this speaker. About 1 hour later (all on the same day of un boxing) the speaker wouldn't power up. I checked the fuse and the plug. It was dead. I really didn't think I wanted to try another one so I went on my app to start the process of returning it and it said I would have to pay shipping on a almost 60 pound speaker. When I got to Ups and the lady said it's going to be $198. To ship it back I said I have no reason to keep it so to try a speaker 1 day that wound up not working and I know I didn't do anything to it because I set it up just as I would my other PA systems and I am a DJ so I have a few. So if you can't by this from a local dealer or the seller on Amazon does not pay shipping if it doesn't work stay away from it and pick something else.
