Keto-great
If you eat normal cereal, don’t expect this to taste like normal cereal. If you’ve been low carb for a long time, this tastes great! It is very expensive for how much you get, but all packaged keto food is. This particular mix pack on Amazon gets you the most bang for your buck (at this point in time anyway!). I wish it included the fruity or chocolate peanut butter instead of the chocolate mint. I love mint-chocolate combo in general, but it’s my least favourite flavour of this cereal. Some of the flavours taste a bit artificial full strength (e.g. fruity and Chocolate-banana) but are great when mixed half and half with one of the other flavours. This is nice to mix things up in general.. e.g. fruity+honey graham, cinnamon+chocolate banana, chocolate banana+chocolate peanut butter, maple+chocolate.

Hard to Find Breakfast Alternative on Lo-Carb/No Sugar Diet
Breakfast is the tough meal in the low carbohydrate/low sugar world!Bacon and eggs one day and then what? There’s a lot of “Keto-friendly food” but Catalina Crunch is the real deal. Fairly low in carbs and no sugar! Great fiber and protein.I buy the six flavor set to mix up the taste. This cereal is not cheap, but I’m happy to find this healthy change of pace. Mixed with crushed walnuts, some blueberries and a couple of strawberries, a modest bowl of Catalina Crunch is more filling than you might at first expect. And, somehow, this cereal, in a bit of Half and Half, manages to maintain its crunch to last bite!

Passable Low Carb Cereal
I had been craving sweet cereal... Cinnamon Toast Crunch and frosted mini wheats specifically. However, I am at a point in my life where I am trying not to shove endless spoonfuls of sugar down my throat. I came here to try to find anything under 10 grams of sugar per serving... But when you're down at the low end, it tends to be things with practically no sugar, like high fiber bran cereals. Yuck!I found the Catalina Crunch and the macros are right where I want them to be. The flavors appealed to me. I couldn't decide on one flavor, so I got the 6 piece sampler (Chocolate, Chocolate Banana, Mint Chocolate, Maple Waffle, Cinnamon Toast, and Honey Graham). I wanted to wait until I tried all the flavors to write a review, but I'm impatient. The not so great: All of the flavors have the stevia taste to them, which I am not a fan of. I prefer more monk fruit and less stevia, and I really am not a fan of stevia by itself. The chocolate flavors are on the bitter side. Ever try making a low carb chocolate milk with sugar free almond milk, stevia, and cocoa powder? It's just not a great combination. I did not enjoy the chocolate or chocolate banana so much. Mint chocolate is yet to be tried, but I am not hopeful. Chocolate Peanut butter might have better potential to be good, but that is not in my variety pack. On a side note, I have had chocolate keto cereal that was half decent, but I forget the brand. Possibly Kashi.Price/serving is a little bit of a sticking point. Let's be honest, who eats only one serving in a sitting? On the other hand, if you're eating keto or low carb, you know the options aren't great, and getting variety is nice even if it costs a bit more. Finding healthy non-carby breakfast items is a persistent struggle of mine.Flatulence was a minor issue starting out. If your diet is shitty like mine, your gut flora won't know what to do with all the fibers and pea protein for a few days. The great*: This cereal has some serious crunch. It retains its crunchiness in milk for the entire bowl. Other cereal companies should take notes. I suspect the fiber creates a barrier preventing milk from soaking in and soggying everything up, but I'm no culinary scientist.*So, I actually like my cereal medium soggy, so this is actually a little bit of a let down for me. I've not let it sit more than 5 minutes, so maybe if I give it an extended sit, I will get my sogginess. To be continued...The good: As noted previously, the macros are what I am looking for. I am not eating keto, but carbs are easy enough to come by, so if I can load up on protein instead, I would prefer to.The fiber content is borderline bonkers. Remember, we're eating the standard American two servings in one sitting here, so 18 grams of fiber. Drink enough liquid, and your poo will be nice and easy. I am on the road a lot and my diet suffers for it, so opportunities to incorporate fiber are a godsend. As for the other flavors, Cinnamon Toast is good enough, as is the Honey Graham. They are reminiscent of their sugar loaded counterparts, though obviously don't expect them to be nearly as good. I look forward to trying the Maple Waffle (has monk fruit), and I anticipate buying the Fruity flavor at some point (but maybe not 4 bags... no monk fruit, so a little wary).Hey Catalina Crunch, can we get a non-chocolate variety pack?Overall, if you're on keto or watching your carbs, this is worth a try. The 4 piece variety pack only has one chocolate, so I would recommend that the most in order to evaluate the flavors.

Picky & Honest
I ordered this by mistake intending to order the snack assortment for a trip. This isn’t returnable, so decided to try it. The Maple Waffle is delicious, the Honey Graham has little real taste - not bad just sort of nothing. I thought 1/2C was too little for a meal so poured 1/2C of each. A total 1/2C would likely be enough. Someone posted that this “spiked glucose after a 1/2 hr.” Directions with glucose monitors for People With Diabetes states to check at the 1-2hr point, so that reading could be mid-guiding, ppl who check because of a Keto diet have different criteria than those with Diabetes on medication.

Aftertaste is bad
I was trying the keto diet and didn't want to give up cereal as a breakfast option. Saw this product, read reviews, compared pricing (between here and the website) and decided to try it.I understand that this is low carb and sugarless and to help people on the keto diet. Two days in a row I had the cereal for breakfast and both days my stomach had trouble. Hours after having a bowl with unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I normally have sweetened plain almond milk with no problems) I continued to taste the "aftertaste"of the cereal. The aftertaste reminded of sweet n low and it wasn't pleasant. It took hours before the actually feeling went away and my stomach felt better. I tried nibbling on it as a snack and had the same reaction. My boyfriend, who's not on the diet, said that the taste was bland and it tasted artificial (to which the cereal is not).I tried 3 different flavors and they all equally gave me the same reaction. As for a good point: they stayed crunchy in milk.I paid for this and will continue to eat them unless I can find someone willing to take the unopened bags off my hands.I bought a box of six flavors. I compared the price between Amazon and Catalina crunch's website and Amazon had the better deal.My recommendation, if you are a cereal lover and trying the keto diet, give these a try. But if you don't want an aftertaste, try other options.

Wonderful!
I've tried a lot of low-carb breakfast cereal products, and this is the only one that doesn't appear to be made out of recycled grout. Delicious, crunchy, great flavors, totally satisfying. If anything, they're a little too sweet, but I'm pretty hyper-sensitized to sweetness after all these years of avoiding sugar, and while it's close to the edge it's not over it. And a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it. Winner all around. I'll be ordering this stuff regularly.
