The performance of this line is fine but as for the coloring if it means that much to you don’t bother buying it. Faded to almost white after first use. I’ve never seen that happen before. I mainly use the power pro moss green and have never had such a dramatic color fade of the line before.

Been buying PowerPro Super Slick for years. Good diameter and smooth as silk. The new V2 is a step up. However, it is also “stiffer” than the original. This is not a problem with thin 30 lb test. But when I worked with 50 lb for shock leader it was a little tough to splice the line. The tag end of the 50 had too much memory making it harder to manipulate it with your fingers. Other than that, great stuff.

I have been using power pro braid for my baitcasters for 5 years now without any hiccups. I made the switch from spectra original, hoping I could get enhanced performance, but instead all I get is birdnest after birdnest. Worse still, the knots tied on this braid tend to break (slip?) for some reasons, resulting in a lot of loss fish.I wanted to like this braid, but performance wise, this is terrible!
