after searching far and wide, all across the internet, this is now my goto plastic
After trying many different white filaments, I've settled on Argos as my goto cheap plastic for everyday printing.. Great price, Solid consistency in width, and the color is a very nice matte white. My biggest frustration with other "white" filaments is that the manufacturers skimp on the amount of pigment necessary to make it actually solid white, and you get that ugly, milky semi-translucent white. While the milkier white is great at hiding print defects, it makes my prints look cheap and kind of formless. When I finally found argos's actually white plastic after using a milky white plastic for awhile, at first I thought using Argos plastic drastically increased the number of surface defects. But since it was so hard to tell what the surface of the milky white plastic actually looked like, I spraypainted a milky white print with matte white spraypaint. And lo and behold, my surface quality was already pretty bad (slightly worse than the Argos print, actually), I just didn't realize it. since I've switched to Argos as my goto, I've made some serious strides in increasing the quality of my prints because it's much easier (and cheaper) to see defects, triage their source, and fix them, all while my standard plastic. No longer do I waste precious colored filament to a glaring defect that went unnoticed in the milky depths of cheap white plastic. While it was definitely a slightly painful reality check to how well calibrated my printer was, it actually ended up being for the best, since my printer is running better than ever.

Small Temperature Range, Prone to Jamming
Update 2 - My printing issues were not because of this filament but rather because of my Magma hotend. I have since switched to a clone E3D-V6 and this filament prints perfectly. I have used two rolls if it to print the 3DPrintLab Cessna remote control airplane. I use a bed temperature of 48 and a hotend temp of 208~212. Works great!Update - Have to print at low speed to avoid chewing away the filament, temperature at 220.Tried at temperatures from 180 to 220 in increments of 5 degrees, it will extrude for a few seconds before jamming. Upon taking out the filament from the hotend, there is a large bulb where the backpressure forms and a notch chewed out further up where the extruder motor is. Tried will light and heavy extruder motor pressure on the filament, didn't help. Best I was able to get was about 2 minutes of extruding at 210 degrees with light pressure but eventually jammed. I have a fan constantly blowing on my aluminum heatsink.

Great for a matte finish filament
This is very good matte white filament, which almost looks like an abs finish. The actual quality of the material is good, but it needs to be printed at a higher temperature than most other PLA's. I run this in my Ultimaker 2 at about 225 deg. The filament is actually quite ductile. not brittle at all.The only issue that I have with it is that it seems that the diameter varies a bit more than I would like. Not terrible, but enough to mention.

Can't complete a print that requires retracts with this filament.
I have had on and off success with Argos filaments, some prints well others like this roll of white constantly jam. I like to support US companies but this is probably the last roll of Argos that I buy because I just don't have the time to deal with it. The issue with it is on retracts, if you are printing anything that requires frequent retracts the stuff jams in the hotend. If you are printing something with no or relatively few retracts it does well.Edit: I was wrong about the retracts it jams on normal prints with retract turned off.

Not good for a Taz 5
I've used a lot of filament over the last 3 years while printing. I usually am a huge Hatchbox fan, but they seem to be sold out more often than not. I decided it was time to find a new supplier for my 3mm PLA. The reviews for Aryos looked very promising. I bought 2 rolls of white PLA for my taz 5, they showed hi pmin perfect condition. Awesome packaging etc. The issue comes when printing. I have never had so many clogs in my life on a brand of filament. I have used both rolls to make sure, then went back to another kind. This stuff will jam up a taz 5 quicker than anything I've ever experienced. I've tried varying temps, to completely cleaning out the extruder and hot end to no avail. Again, this was on my taz 5 so you may have varying results for another printer.

Had a lot of problems with the consistency of this plastic
Well, it's cheap and very poorly mixed... I have a large print I'm doing (500mg) worth and I can't get it done without clogging the print head or breaking the filament off... I check the filament and the one spot is super brittle. I have talked to Argos about it... they send me a new spool with the same problem. I can't use this plastic anymore.

Taz5. Printed an entire spool of this for some ...
Taz5. Printed an entire spool of this for some modular shelving over the course of a week. Never once did it fail or produce defects. I've got a few other spools from the same brand in different colors, with much the same results. I see some other negative reviews that honestly seem to be more inexperienced printers who don't understand how to calibrate their printers or slice their models, and wind up blaming the filament. As someone who's been using this stuff for a while, take it from me that the problem is not the filament.

I do NOT recommend this filament
The item arrived on time and was packaged adequately but this is honestly the worst filament Ive ever used. The color is flat (without gloss) and ugly. The finished parts end up having more tiny splotchy areas than normal which indicates to me that the diameter is not well controlled or it contains contaminants.
