It worked perfectly. I've replaced this part 2 or 3 times instead of discarding my fridge. You can hear it before it goes out. This brand has lasted the longest. Don't pack stuff around the fan and it will last longer

This part was exactly what I needed to fix my GE Arctica refrigerator freezer. Replacing it was not super easy, but I found a very nice video on YouTube that was exactly what I needed. I got more than half the way myself, but couldn't figure out how to get the ice maker out. It was so easy! Finally, be careful when you take off the bottom screws on the evaporator cover. I dropped on behind the cooling coils.... Gone!

After 10 minutes of research I was able to determine with 90 percent confidence this was the right item to fix the problem. Its not altogether hard to replace, but it does take some time to disassemble to get to it. There are lots of youtube videos, and you need about 3 common tools.WARNING: For my unit (GE Adora side by side model DSE25JSHKCSS) the electrical connector had the right plug arrangment, but the latch connector did not mate. Therefore I had to modify the connection which took 3 minutes and a twist tie. Electrical tape would have worked too. I prefer to have a snap tight connection but this will have to do, and is the reason I removed 1 star from the review.I will add, the OE part cost $180 (plus shipping, plus much longer time to ship). Amazon got 'er done for $25, delivered the next day and we are back up in running. When hundreds of dollars of food are at stake (and hungry family members hovering over the fridge 24 hours a day!), its the only way to go. If the aftermarket part does not last as long, at least I know how to replace it and where to get another one. It would have to fail about 8 times to justify getting the OE part at that price.

Sadly this took the ghost that was living in that refrigerator away they kept hearing noise the custom would tell me it sounded like a ghost living in there. Have to changing the fan motor the ghost no longer resides in this refrigerator the best I can tell it must have been linked to the old fan motor and is currently existing in there. Took only about 45 minutes as GE refrigerators are notoriously problematic to take the back walls out of at least this model. It was built a lot better than I expected as most of the knockoffs had been flimsy at best. No real heat to speak of very quiet and would recommend

This nice inexpensive motor is great EXCEPT for the lousy connectors which doesn't fit the GE OEM connection! This totally defeats the purpose of the purchase! I really don't understand how these sellers makes deceptive sales! Be ready to Shoegoo or Chalk the plugs and tie a ziptie onto the connector to hopefully make it work! Also, the thermostat probe on my unit does not work!
