The Nutty Fruit HouseFruit Slice Jelly Wedge Gummy Candies (Orange Wedge, 5 Pound (Pack of 1))

I ordered from Beulahs Candyland, so I can't speak for other sellers. The candies came sealed well and they were fresh, contrary to what I've seen in reviews for some other sellers. (some said theirs were "hard and stale") Surprisingly (at least to me) they were made in Mexico. (in case anyone wondered) Taste was "ok". Not great, as in "super orangey", but definitely not bad. I've loved the things since I was a kid and now, at 59, I STILL do. I bought a 5lb bag!

Candy was not fresh. They have an excessive amount of sugar. The orange slices also had a strange aftertaste. Will not buy again .

The first 2 times we ordered these orange slices, they were moist and tasted great. They arrived in a sturdy bag that was undamaged.We ordered 2 bags this time. Both orders came in a thin, flimsy piece of plastic. One of the bags had a hole in the side about 1.5-2inches long; the candy inside was hard. The second bag did not have a hole in it, but the candy does not feel nearly as fresh as it used to be.I WILL NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY TO DELIVER A QUALITY ITEM AGAIN.

I get these for my husband and he loves them. The only thing is, they are much smaller now as compared to years ago. The taste is the same

I have a favorite brand of these orange slices. But the price varies and I wanted more but didn't want to pay to get my normal brand so thought I would try these as they were priced much lower. Flavor is a touch more on the tangerine side. Mouthfeel is less soft and gummie, almost like these have a slightly denser exterior. Not hard like a shell, but not as soft as the center of the candy. These might be older, but I can't tell. I still enjoyed them and would buy again in the future. They certainly fill my cravings for orange slices.

These were a gift in which the recipient complained. I finny tried some and they were in good condition and tasted as expected. Some people just aren't happy. This is a good product and I regret my earlier review.

I previously bought orange slices from Nutty Fruit House and they were excellent. I purposely waited until they were available from them again instead of ordering from a different brand. The ones I received were from a different company and I was very disappointed .They were dry and not nearly as good. The label said they were from Mexico but Amazon said they were manufactured in Illinois. Not happy.

The package of orange slices arrived when promised. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful scent of orange when I opened the mailer. It was about 5 days before I opened the orange slices and they were soft and chewy. This bag was so fresh, even fresher than what can be found in grocery stores. Very pleased.
