Perfect for the job.
I put a second hard drive in a new Dell computer and the cable that came with the drive was really too long. I got this one in both a left angle and right angle form; since the price was pretty reasonable, I figured it was better than having to order a second one if I got it wrong the first time. It fit perfectly for me, and the angle made it stay out of the way of some other components in the computer. It is sturdy enough and the drive it connected seems to enjoy the cable.

high quality cables
I added SSDs to my two kids' computers (cloned their old hdds, made the ssds the system drives and made the hdds data drives).I needed SATA cables for this, and I decided to get StarTech because of their reputation.The cables appear to be of very high quality and work perfectly.

Good basic cable
I needed a cable to hook up another internal HDD. This one works well. I like the right angle 90 degree connector. It makes routing the cable easy in a tight space.

Good Cable for my internal DVD-Rom
This cable is one of 2 that I am using for my internal DVD-RW drive in an HP Proliant N40L for my Windows Home Server 2011. The other is a StarTech Molex to Sata power adapter, which is required for this DVD-RW drive. I feel that the review is a little short but the cable is great, was inexpensive, and arrived on time. I have been using StarTech cables and Amazon Basics for the past year or so and have no complaints.

For what it is, there is not much to complain about.
I was looking for the right angle SATA cable between the typical 8" and 18". This 12" cable fit the bill perfectly. I installed it and works as advertised. The right angle helps with the direction it attaches from the drive to where the cable needed to go. For the price, really hard to beat. Highly recommended!
