Fixed my Issue on my 2007 Ford Edge
This shift solenoid worked perfectly on my 2007 Ford Edge that gave me a Shift Solenoid "D" error code. (Other Solenoids could also fail on these solenoids and not just the solenoid "D"). These will have a Strategy Code that will need to be programmed into the PCM by the car Manufacturer or someone who has the capabilities to flash the PCM. In my case, the shift solenoid fixed the faulty solenoid problem but I was still getting the same error code after being replaced. It turned out my PCM was also shorted and needed to be replaced as well which cleared up all of my problems. These could be swapped out in 2-3 hours. There are some technical papers online that you can find that give a step by step guide to replace these. The worst part is keeping track of the bolts on the solenoid (length and location) and tighten with the correct torque. All in all, the solenoid resolved my issue. Great product and great seller.
