Vancouver Island Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3128)

This map is pretty detailed regarding roads, trails, rivers, back roads, peak altitudes, ferry routes, harbors, airports, topology, provicial parks, islands, etc. But no expanded maps of Victoria or other cities. Good quality paper but treat it gently to make it last. When planning a trip to Vancouver Island, you will need a map like this one if you plan to explore much of the island. Cell phone service and gas are limited, so phone GPS is limited. Bring your own satellite based (Garmin) GPS, a compass, and a map like this one.

Love the Nat Geo maps, all of them, up to date, vey readable print, and thus far, in this ever changing world, they are accurate. Highly recommend.

I bought this for a recent trip to the island where I knew I would not have cell service. While there are not a lot of paved roads, especially in the north and central parts of the island, I appreciated having a good map to know where I was.

This is a nice heavy map, but I am needing a Vancouver street map, and did't realize what I was getting. You could not find your way around the city with this

This map would be the best out there if the logging roads were more up to date.
