It does tone down the brassy orange after a few times.

Like other reviewers have noted the product is being damaged in packaging or shipment. Thankfully the tubes were shrink wrapped together so the leakage into the box was minimal. A good amount of the conditioner had come out the defective seam on the side of the tube. I opened in the sink and hopefully can tape up to salvage and use.
