Fabulous. Good looking and does what it says.
When my son reached 10 months we realised his infant car seat was too small. We went to Halfords and spent some time looking at their car seats and realised that you have to be very careful about protection around the neck and head. Most of their car seats were unsuitable for infant to 12 year old age group. We went online and did further research. We found the Graco slim fit. Great reviews, videos and information was detailed. Having considered all our options we decided to purchase this car seat and it came in at £140. Compared to £120 at Halfords for their Joie range it is a considerably more superior product. The seat itself is very strong and has lots of padding and when the child is in the car seat his head and neck are protected perfectly. You have the option of front or rear facing and we opted for rear facing as he is still a baby. It even comes with a handy cupholder which is great for holding his bottle or maybe later on a beer can. That was a joke by the way. When we came to fit the car seat into the vehicle we did struggle a little bit. The passenger seat had to be pulled forward to allow for access. Following the video instructions we found online, installation was easy but we struggled with the poppers on the padding. They are very strong and you need a firm steady grip to pop them back together again. However once the seatbelt was in place we realised that my Ford fusion has slightly shorter seat belts than normal. We struggled to connect the seatbelt into the clasp, plus there wasn’t enough play in the seatbelt to remove it when putting the child in. However we did solve this problem by ordering a seat belt extension at £10 from Amazon. But the strangest thing happened. When the extender arrived and we went to fit it, for some reason we were able to clip the seatbelt into place without the extender. As the seat had been left in the vehicle overnight we wondered whether the weight of the car seat had constricted the foam thus allowing for extra play. The seat itself is extremely comfortable and easy to fit the child into it. However because my seatbelt is shorter than average I will have to unclip the seatbelt every time I want to put my child into the car. Or alternatively I will have to put him in from the other side. Overall despite the technical difficulty the seat is excellent value and looks great and I think it’s going to be a huge advantage as we will not have to purchase another car seat. My infant car seat cost £70. However the advantage of the infant seat is that it can be removed from the car easily and placed in a trolley or carried into the house. That is a compromise up to the individual. I would probably do the same again. The carry handle on the infant seat makes for easy transfer from vehicle to wherever. For new parents this is something worth considering.I don’t know if I would put a newborn into a multi age range car seat. However from 10 months on it’s perfectly fine. The Graco slim fit lasts through to 12 years of age or 36kg in weight. They do say that you can forward face your baby at 10 months but I prefer to have him rear facing. It’s a health and safety factor. Hopefully this review will help for future parents wanting to buy car seats. It is an absolute minefield.

Fits well as long as you follow instructions
Some comments aren't relevant to the car seat. It has no isofix, it's a seat belt only car seat. Some people say their seat belts are too short. I'd recommend you take these comments with a pinch of salt and try for yourself in your car. I personally think a lot of them are from new parents which are not putting the baby seat properly. Let me explain : for baby stage, you need to fit the car seat in position 1 or 2. Easy. Then, your lap belt goes underneath all the padding in appropriate slots and buckle up. After that this is where I believe a lot of people get in confused. The upper part of the seat belt will need to go at the back of the baby seat in one and only one slot (the one closest to your seat belt). The upper part needs to cross from top (the slot) to bottom and Not from slot to slot. If you do that then you'll definitely be short seat belt wise and will have a crunch buckle which then makes this car seat not good for you. If even so you are a little short there's another Safe way to get it to fit. Put the seat in position 1 or 2, put the lap belt in both slots under the padding and do not buckle yet just make sure its in both slot. Then carry on with the upper part of the belt crossing the back of the car seat in one slot only. Now try and buckle up. Hopefully it will be perfectly fitted and no crunched seat belt.I personally have a 5 years old that uses the booster position (so number 4). It's not very clear in the instructions but you are not supposed to remove the 5 point seat belts, you hide them under the padding in the box provided within the seat. For that to close nicely you need to put the crutch buckle upside down, again you can't remove it.I really like the seat, it's well padded, sturdy, slim ish, not overly heavy but obviously meant to remain in the car. Instructions provided are mainly pictures some took me a little while to understand but overall all seat belt car seat are pretty much the same and the blue/red stickers are well helpful.

Well made, well padded, easy to use and to fit
I bought this for my 9 week old granddaughter and she looked like a little princess sat in it. It is so very well padded and has many adjustments of height, width and recline so she was extremely comfortable. It’s a heavy, sturdy seat but I was able to get it into the back of the car easily and it’s very easy to fit with a normal 3 point seat belt. You need to remember that the lap part of the seatbelt goes underneath the cushions and padding the baby sits on so you need to unpopper those to thread the belt through. It’s slim enough so we were able to get baby in her seat plus two adults on the back seat of my car. I can’t comment on using it forward facing yet as baby isn’t big enough. I can see this seat will adapt and grow with her very well.

Great seat, versatile and comfy
I do like this seat for a lot of reasons. I bought it for my 16 month old who has grown out of his baby seat. He seems very comfy in it and loves the cup holder for his drink or a toy. The recline positions are ok. There are 2 backwards facing recline positions and 2 forwards ones for older kids (not depending on if they're sleeping or not).Downsides are that it's a bit fiddly to install, having to remove all cushions and poppers first so it's definitely not one for moving from one car to another with ease and when installed backwards facing the seatbelt is obstructive making it a challenge to get him in... So we've now got him in forwards facing.I'll be honest, I personally wouldn't put a newborn in it as I don't think the recline is enough but toddler age and upwards I would recommend, especially forwards facing.

Great and very comfortable
My daughter is really petite for her age and we couldn’t find a car seat what would be appropriate for her age and comfortable at the same time. This one is great and declining function is extremely useful on long trips. Worth every penny
