Great for small packages
The standard boxes from Amazon do not fit. It's a great product for small packages.

Very poor craftsmanship & poor quality control.
As other have said the quality control & craftsmanship is far from exceptable. The spot welds to hold the flapper to the actual door where so nonexistent you could hardly see the tack spots on the out side edges at all. I contacted Barska directly for customer support per the link in the item page. After several back & forth emails they came to the determination that it wasn't their product & it wasn't bought directly from them so the would not be trying to fix or replace anything with the unit & told me I should just return it emmediately. Well this is in fact their product 100% & just shows you that they are not going to stand behind their products period! Cheap company's just want your money & have no intention on standing up for a poorly made product. I could of spot welded this myself & fixed it but feel as though I shouldn't have to repair their inadequate products so that it functions as they say they are suppose when new.

Poor instructions, missing parts
We never got this installed as it was missing parts and instructions on the inside partition that prevent people from reaching down inside. The interior doesn't match the images shown in the diagrams and the instructions don't have any detail at all about how you are supposed to assemble it. I am pretty handy and am not challenged by most instructions. I should have returned this, but had hoped to find useful instructions online. Today I got around to trying, but there were none. total waste of money as it is just a metal box with a flap at the top, no security at all.

Falls apart
The locking system fell right off as soon as it came out the package. Everything else was fine but the main reason for purchase is security. Your packages cant be secured if the lock just falls out. Anyone can just push hard enough and get the lock to come out.

missing parts, bad instructions, canāt finish install
We were so excited for this mailbox! There was no way to put it together. the instruction are horrible ā¹ļø there seems to be parts missing. And we didnāt notice, you canāt send mailback! it has no place for it or that red handle to pull up.
