M-Wave Bicycle Wicker Pet Basket

This little item was very hard to find. I have a small cat named dog who likes to ride bikes with us. I wish it was a little larger, the top needs to be higher but this is a very nifty pet carrier for the small pet. 7 to 10 lbs tops.

THIS IS DANGEROUS!! I see numerous complaints about how small this is. I put my 7 1/2 pound dog in it and she couldn’t sit up- instead had to crouch. The worst part is the holes in the cage on the top are just a little too large. They are large enough that my dog managed to put her head through it and get her head stuck in it. It was a VERY frightening experience. I had to cut the wires to get her head out. And it was not easy to do. My poor dog was yelping loudly. I would not get this!

The attachment bracket was great, easy on and easy off. The quality of the wicker was less than fair, the corners were cracked and splitting apart. My dog is 12.5 LBS, she did not fit in the basket unless she laid down and curled in a ball.I modified the upper cage by raising it 4" with wire mesh and it now works great.

The media could not be loaded. This is a horribly made product, just absurd how flimsy and cheap. The washers that are supposed to hold the basket down, they’re about an inch wide and ripped through the basket immediately! I set it up, I put my cat in it, as I’m pushing my bike to the door, the baskets breaks off and my cat lands upside down and injured his front leg!!!! I bought this one because I liked the look, even though it’s the highest price cat carrier for bikes. The average cost of one was 25-45$, I spent 80$ on this and it’s trash! Literally trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THIS THING WILL LITERALLY BREAK BEFORE YOU GET THE CHANCE TO USE IT. Please buy something else, ANYTHING ELSE BUT THIS. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed in this purchase. My woman waited a week for this, just to be let down before she even got a ride in. This should be designed better, maybe a large metal plate to hold it down instead of 4 mini washers, whoever designed this should quit their job and work somewhere they’d actually be useful.

First off...I REALLY LIKE this bike basket. It's beautiful, safe and rear mounts on my bike. So why did I return it? It was just too small for my pooch. My Yorkie is 8lbs. But as you can see from the pic, she cannot even sit up in this carrier. If you have a teensy tiny mini dog, I think you and your dog would love this basket.

It is smaller than anticipated

The basket wicker was shredding when I took it out of the box. I didn’t even try to use it. Just sent it back. :-(

The basket is well made, etc. BUT.....my little 9 pound mini schnauzer couldn't even sit up in it. It's really small
