Install time will be greater than stated in installation documentation
People buying this in 2023 for a Scion XB will have some issues with the frame welded nuts being corroded. 2 of the 6 bolt holes should be OK as there is a tow hook that needs to be removed. I would suggest getting a 1/2" pipe brush and a M12 1.25 tap to clean out the nut threads. I used the brush to clean out enough that I could thread one of the bolts removed from the tow hook about 1/4. Then I used the tap to very carefully and slowly clean out the threads by starting the tap with my fingers to ensure it was correctly started, use some WD-40/oil. You don't want to mess this step up. Once all 6 holes are clean it goes very quickly. The only issue is the 1 bolt that is directly adjacent to the muffler. I was unable to use my torque wrench and had to resort to using an open ended box wrench and tightening as tight as I could get it. I'll continue looking around to see if there is a way to obtain some type of adapter, so that I can actually use my torque wrench without resorting to removing my muffler. I'm using this hitch for a 2 bike platform rack.

Perfect Fit!
3 tips of advice: 1) Use 2 people, 2)don't forget the loctite, and 3*** Insert the muffler side in first or it will not slide in. I did this by myself and learned the hard way. Fitment is right on no problems whatsoever. Great product!!!

Good hitch, old car
The hitch came in and does what it needs to. Warning for anyone putting this on their xb, the corrosion in the bolt holes in a 20ish year old car is real, be prepared to have some good impacts to be and to drive them in.

Fit perfect on my 2014 Scion xB
Fit perfect on my 2014 Scion xB. I was able to get this installed by myself in about 30 minutes. No issues at all. Fits well under the bumper so you really don't see it when looking at the back of the car.
