Great Budget Lens for Beginners and Everyday Use
I highly recommend the Brightin Star lens for anyone who's budget-conscious or just starting out. It’s super compact, lightweight, and really easy to use. For the quality and versatility you get, it’s a great deal.Even though it’s manual focus, it feels really smooth once you get the hang of it. I mostly use it for still subjects, so manual focus hasn’t been a problem at all. With its wide aperture, it lets in a lot of light, which makes it awesome for low-light shots and portraits. It also gives a nice soft background blur that looks great. I’ve attached a few photos I took with it so you can see for yourself!

My Favorite Lens for Indoor Wrestling
This lens is a great value for the money. It feels like it is built like a tank and seems like it 95% glass and 5% metal.......It is beefy for sure.It is my go to lens for shooting indoor wrestling because the max aperture helps a lot when lighting conditions are less than perfect (like most high school gyms are)It is manual focus and manual focus takes a bit to get used to.It might not be great for action that moves over large distances as manually focusing might be difficult, but for wrestling it works great for me.At F1.4 it creates a ton of depth of field, lines on the wrestlers a crisp, almost like a silhouetteIn the attached photo my setup was thisLumix G100 cameraBrightin Star 50mm F1.4ISO 800Shutter speed 1/640No post processing

Won’t focus sharply on distant objects.
I bought this lens specifically for fast (f/2) wide angle star scapes with my Canon M200 mirrorless camera.I wanted a fully manual lens so I could carefully adjust the focus and f/stop to optimize the pinpoint look of stars in starscape images. (Autofocus systems have trouble focusing on stars, and the manual over-rides often don’t work well.) At no point - near, at, or beyond the infinity position to the extreme limit - will the lens produce sharp pinpoint images of stars. Even distant trees remain slightly out of focus.Since this is a brand-new lens I will be returning it for a refund. I’ll look for a better-known brand of lens I can trust to perform properly.

I use this lens for everything.
An amazing first entry/entry-level lens for videography and filmmaking, looks great in close-up.

Amazing lens!
I love how the pictures come out with it. I have a Sony a7 4K mirrorless. I have attached some pictures I have taken with it. This has definitely elevated my game.

This lens did not work for me
I have a Fujifilm XT-4 and I'm not crazy about this lens. I shoot a lot of landscape and photos of my young grandchildren. I have a lot of difficulty when shooting the kids and these are the reasons: a). it is manual focus, b). the f-stop ring doesn't have clicks and its easy to slip into wide open without realizing it only to find out later my picture is mostly out of focus. If you happen to shoot something that is not moving and perhaps you are on a tripod, and you are certain you have the correct f-stop, then it gives good images. But for what I do, it just doesn't work.

11 Star Lens For the 25mm & 50mm
I give this Lens an 11 out of 5 stars, great portrait lens. To qualify I'm a video person shooting on a Lumix G-95 and this works great for me! If your a photo shooter IDK I think the still are great but I'm not shooting $1,000 portraits. Love the all metal construction very smooth adjustments. As soon as I got it I ordered their 25mm lens too, Brightin Star you rock! I now have the 25mm & 50mm Brightin Star lens love them both they give me the full frame look with soft backgrounds for a fraction of the price!
