D.R.Harris & Co Windsor Mahogany Effect Shaving Bowl & Shaving Soap

I have been using Dr Harris shaving products for years. You can’t go wrong with any of their products. The soap in the wood bowl with lid looks nice as opposed to the soap just sitting in a shave mug. This stuff is also long lasting. You won’t go through too many of these in a year.

I am now using a single-edge razor and this stuff is awesome. Just be sure to get a really good shaving brush.

I love the smell of this soap and when it is gone will definitely try others from this company now on to the lather. It lathers very well with in my opinion shaves very nicely and smoothly

Refreshing hint of citrus with underlying tones of amber or sandalwood, this luxurious soap lathers quite well and has become one of my all-time favorites.Initially using a high-end 100% silvertip badger brush, lather was a bit weak. When I switched to a stiffer badger brush, production of lather remarkably improved. I have noticed this particularly with D.R. Harris Windsor soap, but Marlborough and Sandalwood soaps still appear to predominantly lather better with the 100% silvertip badger brush.With the pleasant alluring fragrance and excellent lather of H.R. Harris Windsor, I would not hesitate to recommend this shaving soap.

I’d heard some really positive things about D.R. Harris products and decided to try them out. The Windsor scent is very pleasant but also very faint. The lather and slickness of this soap is top notch and makes up for the lack of scent. The wooden bowl is nice but you can save a lot of money by just buying the refill and putting it in your own container. I highly recommended this soap.

I was recommended this product by a friend and my friend was even so kind as to give me a gift card expressly to obtain this shaving soap. Having now used it several times, I can say that I understand their enthusiasm. It builds a fine, rich lather easily, it comes in an attractive and reusable dish, the scent is perfect, and the refills are wholly affordable. I cannot think of anything negative to say regarding this product at all and I have already recommended it to my two brothers, expressing my satisfaction over other shaving creams and soaps I've used in the past.

Could not get it to lather up, tried several times and methods, finally gave up.
