Better than a Crain loop pile cutter
Just don’t waste your time with the Crain cutter this one a 1000 times better. Hasn’t changed is 25 years still the best

This one a dud
I needed a tool that would give me a straight line cut in order to butt two carpet pieces together. Unfortunately this Roberts 10-152 GT Loop Pile Cutter was defective. Neither of the two blades would not slide down through the base so it wouldn't cut the carpet. Called Roberts and they said its defective and I should send it back, which I did. Ended up using a utility knife carefully and it did the job.

Basically this product does what it is supposed to do, it is quality made and the price is right.For the amount of times that I will need this product, I'm sure it will last me for years.

Not a good product
The device did not perform as expected. It couldn't handle my carpet thickness.
