Beautiful, smooth and wet writing.Good amount of line variation, and even a tiny bit of flex (Do NOT use as a flex nib).Only gripe is the cartridge doesn’t fill up too much, I write quite a bit (notes, journaling, school assignments) and I find myself running out of ink too often.I consider this to be a great pen. Beautiful hand feel. It seems sturdy enough.

This is a must have pen for any fountain pen enthusiast or user. It is also a good entry level gold nib pen, however I prefer the Lamy 2000 to this one. Some people complained about it scratching, but if you don’t treat this pen like a chew toy it will be more than fine. The one complaint I have is the black coating on the nib. It’s a nice touch, but it takes away from the overall smoothness of the nib. For example, the Lamy Safari black has a nice nib without the coating, it doesn’t look as good, but the writing experience is much better. Overall, this is a great pen for people of all experience in the fountain pen community.

Ingenious retractable design. Feels great in the hand. This has become my favorite, go-to, everyday fountain pen.

I have been wanting to order this pen forever and I finally do and I get a used pen filled with ink and stained with purple ink. The case it came in was dirty inside as well. A little gross. Should rate it worse but I know the pen will be good in the end.

This is my favorite fountain pen that I have ever owned. It writes like a dream. If you want a step up from budget pens but without spending crazy money, this is definitely the way to go. Awesome writing experience and sleek design.

This is a very nice fountain pen with the convenience of a click ballpoint and no need to press heavily in order to get a great writing line. It will take a lot of practice for someone used to ball point pens to adapt to a fountain pen because the pressure needed to get a ball point to work will quickly destroy a fountain pen nib. But the change is well worth it, especially when dealing with the ailments of growing older and how much more painful it is to write with a heavy hand than a light one.The only complaint, which I have heard before, is that the clip (which makes the pen hang nib-up) interferes with holding the pen in the proper writing position. It would have helped to have it offset a little to allow for a more natural grip on the pen when writing. This is especially important when one realizes that a fountain pen nib needs to be flat on the paper to work properly. Leaning it to either side, even a little bit, will twist and spring the nib, rendering it useless for writing.

The pen is okay but the ink storage was faulty as it did not suck ink. I'm not sure about the company's return or refund policy.

Writes beautifully! Very smooth and broad, like a John Hancock signature. The pen does have a good weight to it, and the clip is right where you want to put your fingers to write or sign, but you get used it.. Wonderful pen.
