GHP 21"x14"x23.5" Outdoor Church School Antique Vintage Style Large Cast Iron Dinner Farm Bell

Installed on top of a 6-foot 4" X 4" pressure treated post. Purchased a nice base from Amazon. Comments from other indicated leveling was the big problem. Through the bracket joints, a steel rod with a torpedo level confirmed when I achieved perfect level. A nice addition to our deck.

We raised the "Dinner Bell" up in our prayer garden. Everyone loves it. Great quality for the price.

Fun to have a dinner bell, ring it for the heck of it. Live in the country but neighbors a mile away can hear it a little.One nut was missing from package but had one that worked in junk jar.

With the measurements given I expected the bell to be bigger then it is. It is mini sized compared to the bell I am replacing.The arm you tie the rope to doesn’t have any way to fasten it on the shaft. You have to drill and pin it yourself or the arm won’t stay on.Bell tone is ok but nothing to get excited about.Not bad for what it is.

The bell looks fantastic. But, the product quality is not what it should be. The bell was lopsided upon first install- hung at 90 degrees (the underbelly of the bell pointed left not down). Upon looking at it I noticed: the top support wasn't square with the bell. Even closer inspection revealed the screw hole that secures the bell to the top support wasn't square... off by maybe 5 degrees. The bell itself has imperfections... the top where the bell mates to the support isn't flat. All these issues combined caused the bell to sit lopsided after mounting. Poor poor quality control. As other reviewers noted, I had to grind the top support to get the bell to sit normally. Disappointing, but I finally got it to work. The thing is so heavy I didn't even want to try to send it back. The bell wasn't packaged very well but I guess it was well enough because there was no shipping damage on arrival. Overall I'm happy with the final product but it shouldn't have required grinding to fix the manufacturing flaw.

This was a replacement for a bell that was broken. It fit perfectly on the current mount. The delivery was really fast in fact it was a couple days early. I am very pleased with the entire transaction.

one side of the bell had been welded a lot I guess to repair a flaw. it did affect the sound a little bit. also, it would not hang close to level. I ground a lot of metal off to the point, I was afraid I would run out of metal and ruin it. it still doesn't hang level, but is a lot closer, and it sounds good. I don't think, I would recommend this company to anyone.
