will stick
Pretty sharp in price and design. Have learned to be more gentle with these in thick materials as they can snap with little pressure. They can also prick a finger with even less pressure. A stitch we sew to onward go and bind ourselves to time.

Good to have for the Speedy Stitcher.
These needles fit the Speedy Stitcher and work best with it. It helps to have the right parts. I have never broke a needle, but I have dropped them and not been able to find them, so spares are good to have.

Just what I needed.
This is just what I needed for sewing webbing to a backpack. The smaller needle just slips right through without much effort.Be advised, that you only get one needel per package. I misunderstood the description that I would get three needles, but the only three-pack is the multi-needle pack.

Perfect expansion set of needles
The fine straight needle is a valuable addition. Really good for sewing fabric.

After 53 years it broke
In 1967 I bought a Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl and hand sewed a complete, fully enclosed canvas top for my Jeep (except doors). I couldn't afford to buy a top, and the weather was rainy. Since then, I have used the awl (same needle) to sew numerous belts, shoes, archery quiver, knife sheaths, and many other leather items and camping equipment...I've used multiple spools of thread. A few weeks ago, I was making a leather sheath for a machete. I was sewing through layers of leather totaling 1/4 inch thick . I was making excellent progress and became a little over-exuberant, pressed too hard and bent the needle. The #4 needle finally broke... after 53 years of faithful service. I couldn't complain; it broke due to "operator error". I have no reason to suspect the replacements I purchased recently are of inferior quality. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

A lifesaver on our boat
I bought to hand-sew a banner to our canvas boat enclosure. It worked fine, but took two of us...one on the front side and one on the back side of the enclosure. I used it a second time to attach a strap to the bimini. Just a one person job that time. It takes some muscle to get the needle through the layers, but I could not have done it with just a plain needle and thread.

Good stuff
Good replacement needles for my stitching awl. Also not bad to just stitch with for thicker thread. A good buy if you bought a speedy stitcher kit or just need a larger needle eye. If you just need a needle with a large eye there are other handier options but these are pretty versatile.
