Moen, Chrome CA87480 Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray from the Torrance Collection, Size

This is well made faucet. Other comments say that (1) it can be noisy in the less-than-full flow positions, I agree, but it is not that loud. (2) plastic base and hand sprayer, I agree, but unless you are really careless and striking these surfaces, it shouldn't matter. I'm motivated though to write this review because the ease of installation and getting to look right was really easy. It comes with hoses, a clear to understand instructions, and the way the main faucet is tightened into place makes it easy to do in the quite cramped space under my sink. It took me about 2 hours to get the old faucet (delta?) out due to corrosion, and having to clean up stuff, plus my old supply fittings at the wall needed to be replaced as well. The install of the faucet was about 40 minutes total. This was the first time I had tried this type of maintenance.

This faucet was simple to install and looks great. It works like it is designed to without any problems. The hardest part of the installation was removing my 17 year old faucet to replace it with this one. I really like it.

I was very disappointed with this product. I removed my old faucet. That went smoothly. I then installed my new Moen Torrance faucet. This also went smoothly. The first thing I noticed was the base was plastic not metal. If I knew this I would not have bought it. The one on display was very high and could not be seen close up and all the boxes were sealed so I could not see it while I was in the store. I also learned that the base does not actually attach to anything. It is simply designed to stay in place by the tension of the sink being installed. Once I installed it I learned that the spicket is not designed to swivel but just stayed in one place. This is totally unacceptable so I immediately uninstalled and put it back in the box. Cheaply made and poorly designed.

The Moen CA87480 kitchen faucet was new,Just as I ordered. It was easy to install. I wouldRecommend this Moen faucet.

I bought and installed this faucet for my mother. It is basic but it's what she wanted. Installation was simple with basic hand tools. You don't need water connection hose/tubes, the faucet comes with it. Great basic faucet!

This is a very nice looking faucet, but I was shocked and disappointed to see that the deck plate is PLASTIC. The sprayer and its base are also plastic. I know many sprayers are plastic these days, but the deck plate? Really? I cannot imagine this lasting for very long and I am not sure the "limited lifetime warranty" will cover everyday wear and tear on the deck plate. I have other Moen faucets and they all cost less, but were made of higher quality materials. Disappointing for sure!

The faucet seemed to be what I expected except that the water pressure was reduced from what the old faucet had. The old faucet was the same as the new one by appearance.

Nice faucet but be aware that the base is plastic has a lot of play on a thin stainless sink.
