Cleantrax CleanTrax Hoof Soaking Boot Blue 24in H x 8.5in Dia

I have tried so many hoof boots, covers, plastic bags, anything to soak/medicate my horse's hoof and she never kept it on, until I found this. It's really easy to apply, even when you have a horse who doesn't like to keep her hoof up. Slides right on and there's plenty of room to pour the liquid in. I did wrap some duct tape around her fetlock area because I was using this with the CLEAN TRAX solution and needed a gallon of water, so I wanted to make sure it stayed on. Great product for soaking hooves/legs. Heavily made and relatively expensive since it only comes as a single boot.

I didn't like anything about it. It is incredibly long and difficult to keep up. It was absolutely unnecessary for it to be long, if it had strapped just above the ankle, it would have stayed on much better. I purchased another boot that did just that and was able to soak his entire foot easily. In the clean trax boot he kept fidgeting and every time he lifted his foot it slid down so he was standing in the sleeve and not the boot! The only reason it got a one star from me is because it didn't tear.

Boots would fit a small elephant. There is also only one strap at the top and I don't know that it will hold up the 26" boots. Still have to try them when the medication comes in so hoping they work out better than expected.Update: I tried the boots and yes they are really big and the strap along with the duct tape and vet wrap around them still didn't keep them up. Going to have to try something else for the next go round. With that being said I contacted Amazon Chat and they refunded my money with no hassle or problem. Thank you Amazon. I won't hesitate to order something else to try. Carol
