Solid and attractive
I am very happy with this stand. It is attractive (it happens to go well with the bookshelves in the room), and seems solid and sturdy. It was easy to assemble - but you have to pay careful attention to the directions; I made a mistake because I did not pay careful enough attention (but it was easy to undo and correct). I have downrated to 4 stars because the packaging was not secure: the outer box was coming apart and two of the legs were a little bit caved in; I had to use a hammer to make them round enough to fit. (Some other commenters have complained about dings in the shelves - I didn't have any, but any buyer should look carefully; the packaging is definitely not good enough.)

Best Stand Ever !!!
Not much to say. This thing is built like a tank. The first one I purchased was so good that I had to buy another. The individual shelves are so solid that you could drive a tank over them without them breaking or crushing. The assembly process is a breeze since everything is drilled and machined perfectly. And the finished product is heavy enough that it won't tip over.

THESE ARE VEFY NICE HEAVY STANDS THAT ARE AS STURDY AND NICE LOOKING AS MULTI THOUSAND DOLLAR AUDIOPHILE TYPE STANDS WITH THE SONICS (HEAVY DENSE WOOD LIKE HDF) OF MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE STANDS. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THEY SEEM TO ONLY BE AVAILABLE FROM AMAZON AS LIGHTER CURRENTLY STYLISH BLOND WOOD. MANY OLDER AUDIOPHILES WHO THESE WOULD APPEAL TO FOR THEIR SONICS ARE PROBABLY GOING TO WANT THE DARKER WALNUT OR MAHOGANY COLORS.
