Perfect fit.Must make sure you are replacing the same sized housing.Baldwin hardware is very high quality. and recommend professional locksmith installation, since tolerances are tight.

if installation is not perfect as parts can bind
Well made lock, lots of internal moving parts creates some friction, if installation is not perfect as parts can bind. We used it to replace the mortise of an existing Baldwin that had a broken spring inside.
