Use English Ivy as a ground cover, in a hanging basket or planter or use it in a miniature planter to grow up over an arbor. It grows quite vigorously once it gets established so it needs to be pruned occasionally. It stays evergreen in milder climates and is very easy to grow. English Ivy is also an excellent houseplant. It is one of the plants that are listed as 'cleaning' the air in the house. So bring it in after the outdoor season is over.
