It took me a while to write a review, as I have lots of things I've ordered from Amazon and don't use them right away.Finally got to taste it on pancakes. I really like this syrup. It did not give me much of a Blueberry Flavor as I had expected, but the sweetness is very delicious, mild, and it does not have that after-taste of the pink packet sweetener or the blue packet sweetener. There is NO ADDED SUGARS. I was looking for something that is not too sweet and in your face like the ones you buy at the store. I will definitely buy this again.

I used to buy Walden Farm caramel syrup through a different store with auto ship for several years. It was AMAZING. I loved it in my coffee. They stopped selling it, I went through my stock and stopped using it and I decided to come back to it. I read the reviews and had concerns about the new formulation. Less thick, flavor changed. It is absolutely true. Ii could tell a difference right out of the box. It is very runny and the flavor is much more artificial. $9 down the drain, literally. I can’t return it and I won’t use it. If you had it in the past and loved it, take warning. It is not the same.

Like so many others, when Walden Farms changed the label appearance AND the recipe of their pancake syrup, last year, I found the new one to be awful. Tried other brands, even worse. Then last week (mid-August, 2024) I saw some sellers on Amazon were selling "Original Recipe" Walden Farms pancake syrup. It's the new label format, but with an extra line added to the label, saying "Original Recipe." It's the original ingredient list, and I just tried it! It's the ORIGINAL taste. For once, a manufacturer listened to what its customers wanted! They're still making the new one, too, so be sure the one you buy has the yellow-highlighted Original Recipe right under the Walden Farms name on the label.

The regular pancake syrup tastes great!! I didn’t really care for the walnut but will definitely purchase the pancake syrup again. Zero points on my WW diet.

I've tried a couple different sugar free syrups in the past few years. I don't use much on my pancakes or waffles, so it usually goes a long way.Previously I tried PYURE organic maple flavored syrup, it was ok. But the sugar substitute is not very good tasting and was glad to finish that up.Next I tried LAKANTO maple flavored syrup. It's also sugar free and has a pretty good and acceptable taste.However, once I tried WALDEN syrup; the search is over. Very good tasting. Makes me feel guilty that it's sugar free, because it tastes like something you put on a dessert. If you don't want your pancakes and waffles to taste like dessert, don't use this.For the price, I got 2 bottles. They arrive bubble wrapped. Just for caution, I made sure my SS order didn't have heavy items that might cause the bottles to break. They both arrived as expected and I'm enjoying breakfast pancakes and waffles again.The hint of walnut is a nice taste.

The flavor is good , it has a very mild sweetness to it. My opinion is its not a bad product but there are better offerings for sugar free carmels with low carbs out there. I use this for flavoring espresso drinks.
