Did you know matte black shower curtain poles are really difficult to find in shops? It's hard to find a shower curtain pole in the shops at all, trust me, we looked when we moved into this house. So Amazon to the rescue!Our bathroom accessories are matte black, so this was the perfect addition, it's sturdy, strong and I can't see it coming down any time soon. Unlike the old one we had there too, this has no massive ridge where the 2 poles meet, so the curtain glides along it really nicely without getting stuck, bonus!

boxes arrived in boxes, so much packaging! easy to figure out. simple to use, but due to the need for them to be strong they can be a bit fiddly to use. currently holding up full-length thermal curtains to try and keep the warm in. (front door and also to the building site that is currently the kitchen.) Makes a considerable difference and has no sign of budging.I found putting the pole in at an angle first and then persuading it upwards into the correct position works best.Don't forget to take into account the clearance above if using curtains with integrated hoops and clearance below if going in front of a door.

Great and easy to set up

Absolutely brilliant no more drilling holes to hang Ur curtains up, took a while to get the right length but once it's clicked into place it stays.The poles are quite thick & just about fit on metal ring eye curtains perfect very sturdy & strong for heavy curtains.Definitely recommend

This is a very sturdy item, and afer many clumsy swishes of my ringless curtain it is still in place. When I had to take it down to wash curtain it went back easily. I didn't see any damage to the walls. However, you have to have luck on your side for sizing as the little holes the pointy catch fits into come about an inch apart, and there's no wiggle room if your space is different. And you need to make sure the pointy catch is pointing down so as no catch on the fabric when you swish it.open or closed. And you have to have the overlap where the two poles meet going the way that makes the swishing easy. You will see what I mean when you look at the thing in person. I am ordering another, so I am happy with mine.

Another product euphemistically described as stainless steel. It isn’t. It’s chrome plated mild steel. It’s likely in a few months time it will have rust spots on it, but given its price I decided to keep it as it does do the job. It’s easy to assemble, and will reasonably support a shower curtain, but will not take too much to pull it from the walls. The plastic washer that covers where the two tubes slide against each other is very cheaply made and does not stay put. Buy this but don’t expect quality, and remember, it’s not stainless steel!

Really easy to set up and use.Hold a set of curtains easily.The only downside is it tends to pull the paint off of the wall when taking down, due to the pressure I think
