Q: How many patties/medallions in a 1lb bag please?

There are approximately 30 medallions in the larger 16 oz. bag. and approximately 12 medallions in the smaller 6 oz. bag.

Q: Can I use as a meal topper for my cat?

Our ORIJEN Freeze-Dried dog food is formulated to meet the nutrient profiles established by AAFCO for dogs; however, you are fine to feed the recipe as a kibble topper as long as you keep the inclusion below 10% of your cat's daily intake.

Q: Is this a substitute for a raw diet ? Or should I still do a raw diet for my pit bull ? It causes flies and honestly the raw diet looks gross.

Hello! This product would be different from a raw diet since it has gone through the freeze-drying process. We would still recommend treating it as a raw meat diet, once rehydrated store leftovers in the fridge, and feed to your dog within 3-4 days. Q: Love the product however not the shipping. Product arrives crushed as it is packaged in a soft envelope. Would be so much better if boxed.

We use Primal now and it definitely does not come as smashed as the Orijen did. Primal comes freeze dried and frozen raw.
